Thread: Breaking a Repaired Mind... (ATTN:Mini 11/5/09)

As the two come up to the asylum Mini gets worried but tries not to show it. He doesn't want to be put in no crazy house and if he has to he'll fight his way out. Until that happens he walks with Maddalena listening to her. "Well....uh....'Maddalena'?.......I know i'm not normal. I can't be in the sun *touches his arm where he got burnt* and i crave........blood. I seem to have good senses as well. I used them to hunt, mostly small animals. A few pets as well. I can't bring myself to bite a..........person. I must know what i am, who i am. But whenever i try to remember i hear....music. So soothing, so calming. Like it's saying it's best not to know." The kindred looks down at the homely shambles that was once nice clothing. "I don't know what any of this is from." Mini pulls out two black drumsticks from his pocket and stares at them. "I found these when i came to. I guess i was a musician or something?" As Mini says that he gets a glimps in his mind of something that drops him to his knees and makes him hold his head. Mearly a jumble in his head, the emotion he felt though was like a sledge to his mind. "What the hell?!......Aaah!......" Mini looks up to Maddalena with a look of sheer fear and desperation. "Help......me"

Maddalena kneels to the ground with him, wrapping her arms around him in a comforting fashion.
"You are an amazing musician. Your music swayed hundreds of humans so that we could get them to safety before the building you were on top of exploded and you were knocked unconscious. You are correct that you are not normal. You are not human. You are outside that and your sustinance is blood. You cannot go out in sunlight, and there are thousands of voices in your head that are your cousins as well... Tell me what you are."

Mini stays on the ground in Maddalena's embrace. He is too scared to move as a little child being comforted after a loss. It seems to take all the strength he has to look at her and say ".......i am.....a vampire." After he says those words he seems to fall into a sleep in her arms.

Maddalena sighs and ponders what to do. She gently pokes at him trying to rouse him.

After a couple of minutes Mini jumps straight up from his slumber with eyes wide open and yelling "No!". He shakes his head and looks at Maddalena. "I think i passed out. Sorry." Mini stands up and offers his hand to help Maddalena up. "I don't know what's going on but if being........a vampire has done this then it'll probably take one to fix it. How, though, i have no clue."

"It's quite alright. The type of vampire you are has distinct mental abilities, which is why I brought you here. This is our domain. Well, really, its Stan's domain but we are all safe and welcome here. I think it will take time for us to get you well again and I want you to stay here while we do it. I fear for your safety if the others found you out wandering around not knowing top from bottom."

Mini looks at Maddalena and for a moment she sees the old him in his response. "No, i refuse to stay here. I don't care what problems i have i will fix them without staying in this place. If this is your big plan, cuz, then i'm just gonna have to do this on my own. I don't care what the 'others' think about me. If they have a problem with me then let them come tell me. Now, if you don't have any other better ideas, there's a beautiful woman waiting for my call."

Maddalena sighs.
"I am not the person to do this. I brought you here as a haven of safety, not to lock you up. And that woman waiting for your call has issues of her own. I am not requiring that you remain here only until you have recovered your memory, but there is much you must know before simply running rampant about town. I just want you to be careful! There are those out there that hunt us, there are rules, laws, things you must relearn. I want you to *think* instead of just rambling around. You could end up risking us all, even that woman you are so sweet on."
