Thread: The Pipers Price (After gathering 1/9/10. Atten Maddy fisrt then JTM, Lydia and other Malks)

Maddalena doesn't even bother responding to the text, she simply arrives at the Asylum and makes her way to Stan's office. It is readily apparent that she is struggling to maintain her current personality. She completely skips any kind of formality as she hurries over to his chair and sits on the floor, placing her head and hand against his arm. Her personality seems to settle a firm grasp but she is still visibly agitated.

"Please, tell me it isn't true."

Sending a text back to Stan. "I will keep him away for awhile. Let me know when it is convenient."

Sitting they waiting Stan begens to get lost in his thoughts. *He watches the lights of the city move about not even realizing the Maddy has pulles up and is entering the building. *When she enters and moves over to him he visibly relaxes as if he is glad to see her in one peice. Her mood, apperance and condition become apparent to him as she sits and talks. *Looking at her a breif moment of shocked concern crosses his stone cold face. *His head turns sligtly as he considers what he knows of the nights events.

"I am sorry, if you are asking about JTM being here for a time them I have to say it is true. *I am sorry to say that I am in the dark as to what is going on, it has obviously caused you great pains and for that I am sorry. *If you can fill me in so that I can do my best to help the situation. *All I know is that Lydia called and said JTM needed a place to stay, he was with her and she wanted to know if he could stay here. *I told her he could stay here but someoe needed to take responsibility for him. *She said he would take care of him.

While talking Stan will reach out and put his arm around Maddy. He will not pull her in unless she leans in to it. *He will then wait to see how she reacts. When he gets Lydias text he will look at it and then show it to Maddy.

Maddalena leans into his arms. She seems to calm even more. She looks at Lydia's text and frowns but is not angry.

"I honestly don't even know why she is bringing him here. So much happened that the 'why' of this didn't even cross my mind. But I cannot be here while he is. I will kill him. And I know you do not want that. I will remain at the house or the museum."

She looks up at him and her face is tortured by paranoia and grief.

"They say there is a traitor in the city. Someone feeding information to the Sabbat. I'm sure you know they destroyed Indigo. Had I not been detained by Malcolm telling me about JTM and Lydia I would have been at Indigo when the fight broke out. Massimo the Toreador died in the fight. The building burned to the ground. Nothing but rubble and it could have been me. Someone is out to get me. I know it. I will find them."

Her face solidifies into an angry resolve.

"I will tear every mind in this city apart until I find them!"

Stan will hold her as she talks. *He makes no movement at all of the mention of killing JTM, club Indigo or the Sword of Cain. *He simply hugs her toward him as she finishes letting her know that he is there.

"I would prefer that you stay at the house as I belive that no one besides a select few know of it. *I plan to keep JTM in the Western ward basement, out of the way and away from the more enlightened. *He will not be waundering the halls and causing problems here. *If they are making this bold of a move JTM needs to watch his steep, no one will have the time to protect him. *I personaly will not have his antics here in this sacred of halls. *As long as you avoid the west ward you should not see him, if he ventures out it is his own doing and not under my protection."

Maddy will hear a rough, unkept accent start to creap into his voice. *She will be ably to tell that he is putting effort not to slip into anouther language. *

"I will begine watching the city with trained eyes now. *Every kindred I find will be scrutinized in every fashion possible. *If their is an infaltraiter they will be, delt with. *Young and old alike, non will pass and all will be put to rights, one way or the other. *Club Indigo will be missed, and I would avoid the museum. *The target could either be the sacred grounds or the Giovanni, either way..."

His voice trails off as the words he speaks take on an old form. *He seems to be lost in his own mind, the thoughts obviously flying through different posibilities. *His silence lingers on as he sits their, holding Maddy and looking out over the city.

Maddalena looks up at Stan, resolve still firm on her face. She kisses his cheek and then stands.

"I must go to a meeting. I will be at the house later, we have much to discuss. There are things that I must get out of my mind before it is too late. Welcome your... guest. Then please, come to me?"

Lydia sends a text to Stan. "Nothing left to do. We are on our way back to the hospital. Shall I bring JTM to you or to his room?"

Stan loks to Maddy after the kiss.
"Of course I will meet you there, I will deal with this one issues then be on my way. I should be there in under an hour."
He will stand and see Maddy out of the building, trying to regain some of the formality that is proper. Once she is on her way he will look at Lydias message and send a reply.
"Please stop by the office, some protocals need to be set before I leave for business."
Stan will return to the office were he turns the music off, waiting in silence looking out over the city.
