Thread: New Nos (Any 7/21)

Ratu rounds a corner, network cables slung over her shoulder.

She is slowly walking along while looking down at, and quietly counting, a thin stack of money. She subtly steals a few glances around while she does so.

Christopher Slade wanders in, dressed in his usual clothes. He starts to move about the room, looking at the art absent-mindedly.

Felix leaves the bar promptly, and upon arrival scouts the Musuem, and then makes his presence known. "Forgive me, it took me a little longer than I might have liked. It is such a pleasure to meet you Elizabeth . (Bows head in respect) When the time is propper could I be presented to the town's eldest?"

Elizabeth watches Ratu walking and doing her counting. If Ratu looks up and catches her looking she will give her a small nod and then turn to Chris. Watching him as he seems to be interested in the art in front of him.

Amused she waits for Felix to arrive. As he approaches her she watches him closely "I take it that you are Felix then? Welcome to the city. What brings you to Lamar?"

Ratu returns the nod, finishing up her counting and pocketing the cash. She also offers a polite nod to Chris, then stops to stare at a random display with mock interest, listening to the conversation between Elizabeth and the stranger.

Chris nods to Ratu, then notices Elizabeth, as well as the new purson she's talking to, he will not go interupt, but he decides it might be a good idea to listen to what there talking about.

Thank you for agreeing to see me. I came here from Memphis and am looking for a new start. A run in with a member of ..should we say our extended family left me out of sorts for a number of years. It would be nice to rebuild here. I do hope this city is open to new faces.

Elizabeth nods "Yes you are welcome here. Just mind the rules and we will all get along. Have you met any others yet?"

"Just our member of the board, are there any others I should meet?" Felix looks around and notices Chris near by. In a low whisper "While in a near by bar I over heard there are a number unexplained new faces and our eldest is not pleased".
