Thread: Visit to the Newbies 3-23-10 (att:Jaysin and Lenore)

Lenore is startled from her book by a knock at the front door. She swiftly moves to the entrance and opens the door. "Hey, Mackenzie!" She steps back, inviting Mackenzie inside. "Come in, sit down. It's good to see you."

Corin walks up to the house and walks inside. She pauses when she see's Mackenzie there.

"Well hello."

She looks back and forth between Mackenzie and Lenore.

"I'm not interrupting anything am I?"

Lenore smiles at Corin. "I'm not sure yet, cher." She turns to Mackenzie. "What can I do for you?"

Mackenzie looks at Corin. "No, not interrupting." She looks to Lenore. "I just wanted to stop by and check on how you and Jaysin were doing." She smiles at Corin. "Perhaps our minds were thinking alike?" Mackenzie would continue into the house and take a seat on a couch. "Anything specific going on, Lenore?"

She looks at how comfortable Mackenzie and Lenore are in the house and smiles, then she remembers what she came for, and runs into the study.

Jaysin left the quaint kitchen as he heard the knock on the door, as he went through the study he bumped into Corin, "Sorry, i didn't know if Lenore had answered the knock. You ok?" he said a lil worried he may have startled her. This was her house and he didn't see her when they collided.

She looks up and smiles at Jaysin.

"I'm fine. So, how are you enjoying the house?"

"Its perfect and thanks for allowing me to keep my two cats here as well, they love the room you allowed them to use. And before you ask they are house trained so no worrying about that ok." Jaysin hoped by having them both with him did not keep people from visiting.
"You seem in a rush, are things going ok or do you need anything in particular? Just ask and if i can help it'd be my pleasure." Jaysin said as heard voices coming from the living room, he guessed there were more visitors. "I guess i should make some drinks, want anything?" he said turning around to fetch some sodas and lemonade from the kitchen. Jaysin felt he needed to be a polite host and at least offer the guest refreshments. So walking towards the livingroom Jaysin spoke with a cordial tone,"Could i get you ladies something to drink or maybe a snack?"
