Thread: slave to the grind (ATTN Corin, any)

Looking at the two kindred, Domino finally caves to Corin's request.

"Fine, let's see these clothes that you have."

Corin smiles at Domino, then walks him to another room. In the room, she opens the closet door and stands back.

"Pick anything."

Domino looks in the closet and grabs an old undershirt, a pair of sweats, a pair of old sneakers, and a dirty baseball cap. He holds it up at Corin as if waiting for approval.

Corin looks at Domino and shakes her head. She then walks over to the closet and pulls out a full white suit ( suit ) and looks at him.

Domino set down the clothes he picked and looks at Corin.

"You are ok with me showing myself to others? Won't they look at me strangely? I mean, there aren't alot of kindred that are willing to be seen with me, especially in something that flashy."

Corin hands him the suit, then moves out of the room, and goes to her room. She walks back with a dress ( dress ) and holds it up for him to see.

"This is what I will be wearing."

She smiles at him.

"So, you get dressed, and I will get dressed, then we will go out."

Domino looks at the dress and back to Corin. "You will look beautiful, but you have not answered my question."

"Why would I have a problem with you showing yourself to others? I told you before, I don't care what clan you are in. I've never cared about clan. You are my friend, and if the Kindred of the city have a problem with it, then they can take it up with me at another time."

"I don't mean my clan." Domino looks down at his hands and back to Corin. "I wear this skin as my badge of honor. The darkening is something we all do in my clan but to do it without diablerizing is a feat in itself. The others don't see it that way. They just see a killer. Ironic considering it's vampires calling another vampire a killer. Your status in this city may be in question if you take me out in such a way."
