Thread: Packing (Attn: Horacio, Kendov, Mackenzie, Anyone who knows where Corin lives.) 2/08/10

As horacio finishes some work in his "office" he hears Corin's ghoul running around upstairs. "What is that fool girl doing now?" Horacio walks into the foyer just in time to see Corin running around. "Corin, what is the matter? What is going on?" Horacio knows something is wrong.

Corin stops just a moment to look Horacio in the eyes, then moves on. She moves to the kitchen and opens up a bottle of blood, pours herself a glass then drinks it. She then walks back to Horacio and looks at him again.

"I'm moving, not out of the city, but out of this house. Feel free to come along if you want, but I'm out."

She runs back upstairs and packs more boxes, trying to avoid telling Horacio what is really going through her mind. She pulls out her phone and sends a text to Kendov and Mackenzie saying...

I'm at home packing to move now. If you would like to help you are more than welcome, but I have to get this done in the next two hours so that I can meet Emma to meet with the important one. Horacio is here, I have not told him about last night, and would appreciate someone being here when/if I do.

After she sends the text she moves back to packing

Horacio follows Corin upstairs. "What is going on? Why do we have to move?" Horacio spins Corin around and looks her in the eyes. "Answer me. What trouble are we in?"

Corin receives a text back from Mackenzie."I'm on my way. Do you have any spare clothes I could borrow? I need to get some new ones."

Me looks at Horacio when he spins her around.

"Not now. If you're coming, then pack. If not, then I'll meet you at Purgatory in three hours. We're meeting Emma there to meet with the Archon."

She looks at her phone, then sends a text back to Mackenzie.

I have tons of clothes, you're more than welcome to pick something out.

She looks back at Horacio then turns back around and starts packing again.

"We're going to have company. Please behave while she is here."

"My dear, I am not a fool. I can read your texts. I mean, they are right in front of me. I like her. She seems genuine so far." Horacio Walks to the closet and pulls out a suitcase already packed. "I've learned to always be prepared. We should have the car pulled around."

She looks shocked for a moment that Horacio is not pressing the issue more, but then decides not to press. She calls for Jeanette and asks her to have the car brought around. She then grabs a box and starts to pack it. They pack for a while and Corin grows anxious.

Mackenzie arrives at Corin's home and knocks firmly on the door. She steps back so that she can be seen if there is a peephole.

Horacio notices Corin's shock. As he walks past her he says "I trust you have a reason and you'll tell me in the car, right? What do we do with our guest downstairs." Horacio hears a knock. "I'll get it. Stay here and pack." Horacio answers the door and sees Mackenzie. "Hurry my dear. Come in."
