Saving Grace.... (ATTN: First Two Respondants, 8/31/10)

As you are patrolling through the city you hear a soft crying coming from one of the empty lots used as extra parking for the car dealership across the street. As you move through the cars in the lot the crying gets louder, letting you know you are getting closer.

Finally you get to one of the cars right on the curb facing the street which seems to have quite a bit of traffic. Looking around the car you see a little girl, about the age of seven. Her leg is obviously broken and she is visibly chained to the car. After a brief moment of investigation, the chain is looped through the bumper, under a tire, through a door handle, and then welded to the metal cuff on the girl's broken ankle. She is trying to hold completely still, her leg is several shades of black, blue, green, purple, brown, from ankle all the way up past where her shorts cover. You realize it it impossible to break the chain or lift the car without being seen by someone passing by, however the little girl is small enough that most people passing by would probably miss that she was even there.

She cries and whimpers as you approach, apparently she is afraid of you and your rage, but because of her leg and the chain, she's not going anywhere.

Cassil walks up slowly and in a calm voice "little girl what is your name, can i get you some help "

Kei slings a bag over the handlebars of her moped. The thing was ridiculous, all cherry red with blue running lights, but it was a gift, and she secretly kind of liked it. It was wicked fast for a moped, too.

Pocketing a cheap camera she'd just grabbed, to be used for parts later, and finishing off the last bites of a cheeseburger she'd nabbed on the way, Kei moves to start the moped, lowering her black, biker goggles so that they covered her eyes.

At the last second, though, she catches something, barely hearing it. She'd parked across the street from a shady looking car dealership, and the sound seemed to be coming from the lot next to the one she was at. Curious, she leaves the bag where it is, grabbing her perpetually present laptop case and slinging it over her shoulder as she gets off of the moped. Kei starts to wander through the lot, trying to follow the sound, stopping every so often to get her bearings again.

Eventually, she comes across Cassil. She wasn't that familiar with the other Garou, but it seemed odd to see her out her. Most of the Garou seemed content to just camp out in the wilderness. Her eyebrows rise considerably as she spots the little girls next to Cassil.

"What the hell is this?" Her eyes trace the path of the chain holding the little girl in place, mind already racing through myriad possibilities about whatever the hell was going on.

cassil looks up to the other garuo and says "we have to help her her leg is broken and i don`t know who has done this to her please help me help her "looks to ther other garuo pleadingly .

Kei puts a hand to her face, sighing deeply. Great, I've really got into it, now. After a few moments of deep breathing, she finally relaxes a bit. Walking over and squatting next to the girl, Kei removes her goggles and slings them across her forehead, keeping her eyes clear, and she smiles at the girl, trying her best to appear non-threatening, since it was readily apparent that the girl was scared out of her wits.

"Hey there..." she says, trying her best to soothe the girl, "I'm Keilanni. This is my friend," she gestures over her shoulder at Cassil, not breaking eye contact with the girl, "We're going to try to help you, okay? Can you tell me your name?"

Over her shoulder, still looking at the girl and smiling, Keilanni whispers to Cassil, "Check to see if the door on the car's unlocked. And try to keep away from the street while you're doing it. Don't want anybody thinking we're breaking into it."

The little girl cringes as Keilanni gets close to her, big crocodile tears tumbling down her cheeks. Her bottom lip quivers as she manages to speak

"G.. G ggg Grace....."

As Cassil nonchallantly checks the car she notices that all the doors are locked and there is an alarm on the car as well. She realizes that breaking into the car would set off the alarm.

well the doors locked and the alarm is on and we got to do something quick as who ever did this might come back soon and she`s in pain .

Kei turns her head away from the girl, so that she couldn't see her frown, and whispers to Cassil, "Well...that's a pain."

Returning the smile to her face, Keilanni turns back to the girl, "Grace? Well, you have a very pretty name Grace," her voice is warm and friendly, doing her best to soothe the girl, "Can you tell me what happened Grace? How you ended up here?"

She glances at Grace's leg and winces slightly. Really wish I had that healing crap Claudia did earlier. Her gaze stops at the cuff on her leg, eyes narrowing a bit. She gives it a visual once over real quick, trying to determine if it had a latch or a keyhole of some kind, then returns her gaze to the girl.

Grace wines in pain and tries to huddle back into herself.

"I'm just here. I was bad and now I'm here." She is obviously hesitant to say much more.

The cuff on her ankle does have a locking mechanism, but it appears to have been jammed and no normal method of lockpicking or key would work.
