Thread: Taking Arms, Again (ATTN: JTM & Maharet Only 05/27/10))

I know Eamon i didnot have to come but i wanted to see Jtm for somethings i wanted and since you were all readycomming i thought it wise to come with you and save a trip as there are other things i will be doing later .

JTM sits lounging on his couch drinking his beer somewhat relaxing.

“Now this is the life, Barbie. No more people asking me for gear. Cheers. Ahhhh….”

His cell phone rings and vibrates in his back pocket since he still hasn’t bought a replacement coffee table to put it on. He does the dancing butt shuffle pulling out his cell looking over the number.

“What the fuck!!! What the hell does he want? Doesn’t he know I’m relaxing. Barbie, did we have an appt with Eamon? We did!!! Fuck Barbie and you didn’t tell me. Shit!!!”

He picks up the phone.

“Sup Eamon. Yeah. I’m here. Come on down.”

He clicks the phone putting it into his back pocket again. He hears the car coming into his driveway.

“What the hell is that? Shit!!! Doesn’t he know that that vehicle sticks out like a sore thumb around here. Not my prob if his rims and hubcaps get stolen while he’s here. (chuckling) Dammit, it’s got an alarm. Now I have to explain this one to my nosy neighbors too.”

He gets up hearing the knock unlocking the door and opening it…looking strangely at Eamon’s outfit sizing him up and down. He then sees Maharet in tow there.

“Sup Eamon???? That’s a new look for you to say the least. (chuckling). Sup Maharet. Where have you been hiding nowadays? (chuckling) Come on in both of you.. Pull up a seat. Don’t mind the mess.(sword still stuck in a broken coffee table with a couple pieces with bolt holes in them) Massive combat training going on around here. Barbie doesn’t know her own strength.(chuckling)”

He locks the door after they enter going to his fridge. He grabs a couple beers for himself.

“Oh my bad. You guys want a beer?”

looks Eamon befere speaking "never been hidin mr Mogal been getting my edacation and yes i`ll take the beer if you be offerin it thanks and do you think you can get me the uzie i ask for or a blade doesn`t mater which one(wearing a black tank top black camie pants black boots )

Éamon looks at JTM, "Yes, Tis a new look for me indeed, I felt this would be more appropriate for this visit. No reason to ruin a perfectly good suit if it can be helped. I must say your choice in furniture is quite interesting. If I may who is this Barbie that you mentioned?"

Éamon admires the blade stuck in the coffee table as JTM goes to the fridge, "No thank you, Mr. Mogul, I am fine."

He turns to Maharet as she answers JTM and smiles, "Honestly Mr. Mogul, I believe a steak knife would be a fitting blade for Ms. De Erros."

JTM comes back into the living room with 2 beers looking at the Motley Crue Ventrue vamps, then to Maharet handing her a beer.

“Here ya go Maharet. Ah gotcha book learning and that (looking at Eamon) nasty leash. Doesn’t that just suck big time, Maharet. What did you do to warrant it? This I gotta hear. (chuckling) Last time for me was that I overslept. Very bad juju too.”

He chuckles abit about it.

“An Uzi? Are you fucking nuts Maharet!!! I aint stepping on the mob’s turf. I don’t want no goddamn goombas with broken noses knocking down my door. Fuck that noise. I got enough heat on me already. A blade…..hmmmm…..”

His thoughts get interrupted by Eamon talking. He listens laughing a bit.

“Oh my bad. Eamon and Maharet, this is Barbie and the 4 mini’s. Barbie and the family, this is Eamon and Maharet. They say hi by the way. Now if you want good combat threads. Look at them except for #4. She keeps losing clothing every night. I swear.”

He puts his finger up to them.

“Hold that thought.”

He goes to the kitchen rummaging through the cutlery find a set of 4 dirty steak knives. He puts them back into their display case bringing it back out.

“You mean like these? You can’t have just one. It’d ruin the whole set. Here you go Maharet. (hands it to her) On the house. Pssst. You might want to wash em first. Barbie has been lazy with cleaning shit up here too. Hey now, stop yelling at me Barbie!!!”

He shrugs his head down apparently losing this war of one way words with her.

“Fine, Barbie. I’ll get to it after they leave. Shit!!!!”

He grabs the sword in the middle of the broken coffee table pulling it out Sword in the Stone style. He then places the sword in his hand showing them it.

“Now you mentioned a blade, Eamon. How about this bad boy? It slices and dices through practically everything. Just one hitch with it though. Droz gave it to me cause he got stiffed by Corin on it…at least that’s what he told me last time he was here. I told him I’d see what I could do about fixing that snag. So hmm….maybe you should talk to him about it. But can I still get the deal we had about converting the stocks over to Emma Fitzpatrick…That’s Emma…F I T Z Patrick k. not Fitzy or just plain Emma. Call it a middle man’s fee.”

He grabs his phone texting Droz. He hands the sword over to Eamon.

“Here hold this, will ya Eamon. Hard to text and wield at the same time”

Hey Droz. Eamon wants the sword. I’m giving it to him sending him your way to deal for it, that cool?

He sends the text.

“Now I’ve contacted Droz so he knows the 411. You know where lives or have his number? If not (rattles them off). There you go and happy hunting. Now was there anything else, Eamon or you Maharet?”

Éamon takes the sword from JTM and moves to the middle of the room making sure he has ample distance from anyone or anything as he gives the blade a once over. He then checks the balance of the sword and the weight distribution. Once satisfied with the sword he takes a solid grip and begins to swing the sword a bit. It is obvious that that he has done this before however by his movements you can tell that it has been a very long time.

Éamon stops swinging the sword and looks to JTM, "Tis a good blade, and yes I will still get the stocks taken care of for Ms. Fitzpatrick. Do you have the certificates here? I will need them in order to get the transfers done. However there is still the small matter of a quick refresher course on combat. You have to understand Mr. Mogul I have not been in combat in, well let us just say longer than you have been embraced."

Éamon glances at Maharet, "There was something else actually. However I will wait until your business with Ms. De Erros is completed before we discuss that issue."

and i take it you don`t think i can handle a blade or a gun then how on god`s green earth am i to defend myself when you know the enemy has them looks to the both of them questionly

Éamon turns to Maharet, "I never said you were not capable, however I do not believe you are ready to be thrown into a combat situation quite yet. As for the steak knives that was actually intended to be a joke. I did not actually believe that Mr. Mogul would give you a steak knife. Secondly, if you really want a firearm such as an UZI, then I would tell you to wait a few weeks and I will see what I can do to obtain a similar weapon for you. The UZI however is not an accurate firearm and I would not suggest it to anyone. Finally, I have but one word Decorum."

JTM watches Eamon swing the sword making sure he is not in his path.

“Yeah, Eamon. Droz does great work when you can find him that is I didn’t say you were a bad swordsman Eamon. That sword looks GOOOOODDDD on you. (chuckling) Uhhhhhh…the stocks.”

He pats his chest realizing he doesn’t have them.

“No. Eamon I gave them to Fitzy. She’s got em. You were there when I gave them to her I think. Did you forget that? Don’t worry. It happens to me from time to time too.”

He chuckles looking over at Maharet.

“Eamon said the floor is yours, what can I help you with now, Maharet? Eamon’s right, an Uzi’s not accurate at all. You want something that is easier to fire. I got just the ticket.”

He hands her a 357 Magnum pistol that has fingerprints all over it from all the hands it has passed from person to person.

“Try that one out, Maharet just don’t shoot it here k. Don’t need the po-po or my nosy neighbors wondering what’s going on here and they have a reason to snoop around.”

He listens to Eamon.

“Decorum. Is that like etiquette? Sorry for my lack of etiquette on that.” (chuckling) “Now was there anything else Maharet? Eamon is waiting on you.”
