Thread: It's just good business (ATTN: JTM only 7/1)

JTM hears a taxi leave.

“Wonder who the fuck that could be Barbie.”

He hears the knocking getting up from his couch. He unlocks the deadbolts opening the door.

“Sup Domino. Those brown bag specials for me? Let me get them then. You know the drill here. Don’t mind the remodeling I’ve done lately. Hopefully you like the new digs.”

He takes the bags in one hand and will shut and lock the door as soon as Domino enters.

Domino lets JTM grab the two bags and walks in behind him. "Yes, in one bag is the customary 6 pack. In the other is something a bit different. A nice bottle of greek wine. Thought you may like it whenever you feel like a change of pace." Domino takes a seat and waits for JTM to check the gifts out.

“Cool. Thanks man. (opening the bags looking at them) I’ll have to try that some time.”

He puts them in his fridge admiring that his fridge is getting more stocked again. He grabs a beer coming back sitting on the coffee table.

“So you mentioned some biz you wanted done. Some THINGS you needed, Domino. Anything for Corin? (chuckling) This I gotta hear, so spill it and let me have it.”

He sits there anxious for this.

Domino stands up from his seat and casually walks around the room, glancing around to make sure they are alone. When he is sure they are he turns to JTM.

"Nothing for Corin. Me. Two glock G18s with silencers and appropriate subsonic ammo, Barret 82A1 sniper rifle with scope and again appropriate ammo, and paperwork to own the weapons along with carry and conceal paperwork for the glocks. I would also like a vest style gun holster for the two handguns that hopefully can have my two short sword scabbards attached to the back. A decent sized order, I know, but will be paid for in kind. Can you do it?"

“Wow, Domino!!! Just reach in there and yank my nuts out, why don’t ya. Let’s see here. Hmmm….I got the pistols you need with the paperwork in my name, but no silencers or special ammo. Hold that thought.”

He goes to his closet rummaging around there abit. He returns with the two pistols he wanted setting them on the coffee table, the clips of regular ammo separated and no bullet in the chamber.

“There ya go. Check em out if you want to. Now the accessories for the weapons are really HARD to find lately. Plus getting ownership transferred to you might get a lil hairy, but I’ll see what I can do about that. What name you want put on that any way? They will fucking ask me for it. You got proper ID to back it up? If not, that’s another added extra for me to fix. .I’ll get you a cool name to go with it too. How does D C Darkie sound? D C is short for Domino Corin.”

He chuckles as he takes a sip of his beer.

“A sniper rifle, (chuckling). You mean like this one.”

He slaps his hand on the case down by his feet pulling it up on the coffee table opening it to show him it.

“That one’s my fucking baby, my little pride and joy. I won’t part with it, unless I had a REAL good reason to. Now getting you another one, that will definitely be a hard one to get that won’t be coming into my possession anytime soon. Lots of string pulling and paperwork involved for it to be legally yours before you’d even see it here. Mine luckily is. That one would cost you big time for the hoops I’d have to jump for it.”

He almost spits up his next beer swallow.

“If you are looking for clothing tailored shit like that, that aint my department. I can get you the holster straps for concealibility, but it if you want something fancily tailored done like that. You’d have to talk to Ash and Amanda “Boom Boom” Winters, and ask them for it. You can tell em JTM sent ya if you want. Up to you on that. I’m just not into sewing and fabric shit like they are. They do good work though.”

He chuckles abit.

“So you wanna change modify your order, before I give you the ROUGH estimate of what this is gonna fucking cost you. Money just won’t cut it either. Get what I’m saying. Anything else you can offer me on your end? Somethig to help speed up the process? Until we got a solid deal set, I aint lifting a fucking finger for you, Domino. I aint getting stiffed like Droz did. You follow me.”

He waits for his answer patiently.

Domino listens to JTM and watches him closely when he sits the glocks down. He picks each one up and inspects them thoroughly. You get the feeling he's handled a gun before. Assuming there's nothing wrong with the guns he'll say

"Hmm, no suppresors but still nice. These will do. Don't worry about the silencers. I do still want the sniper rifle, though. 'D C Darkie' won't be necessary. You can get the paperwork filed under the name Dorek Isidoros. That is what's on my I.D. I use. I understand you don't do taloring. I meant the conceiling vest holster I wanted for the guns I hoped you could find with a back to it so I could get the scabbards added later."

Domino sits the gun down and sits back in his seat, looking at JTM.

"No I won't 'stiff you'. I understand how business works. What I want to know is what you are asking for in payment. What is it YOU are looking for in exchange? You obviously want more than money. Let's get down to it."

“K…let’s get dealing then. That’ll be a MINOR for those 2 guns, my standard fee. I D switch to Dorek Isidoros, Barbie write that down will ya, will cost you a grand upfront. Bribing the switch aint cheap with the people I know. As for the sniper rifle, we can settle up if and when I get it. But that’ll be maybe TWO MINOR or a MAJOR down the road…those fuckers are very hard to find, and the shit I’ll have to use to get it…let’s not even go there. Giving you the heads up now as to whether or not you really want it. Say NO to me now if that’s asking too much. I hate wasting my time..you know that.”

He looks over at Domino trying to grasp what he’s saying to him about the vest design.

“Domino, you’re speaking Greek to me now. (OOC the way you said you want it…not that you language’d it that way) You know how much I hate that. Tailoring and crap aint my bag. I can get the basic stuff that comes with guns, the basic holster or vest….those I can kick in for free, but if you want some fucked up added on bullshit with scabbards and such. Either do it yourself or talk to who I told you too. That’s as far as I go with it, period. Nuff said. End of story on that.”

He takes a sip of his beer.

“Now if you don’t want to owe me boons, what else you got instead to offer, some loaner pull in the city, powers perhaps? Think about that one real hard if you get what I’m saying to you. I already told you it’s not money I want this time if you can get the fucking hint.”

He sits back relaxing waiting for his reply very carefully weighing it hoping Domino doesn’t say another Greek thing to him.

Domino listens to JTM, wondering what all he's digging for.

"Now who's busting who's balls? A minor boon for the glocks, standard price.....Ok, I'll bite on that one. And that covers holster vest, no tailoring of course, and paperwork. Now I was coming to you with this order thinking you would appreciate the cash but you want something else. I'm a generous man to my friends, JTM. I have the $1000 (domino lays a bundle of hundreds equaling the grand). I have more as well. I am not the type to hand out a lot of boons. The minor boon for the glocks is enough. I'll just tell you now, if you are wanting to learn the discipline of my clan I'm sorry but it isn't happening. To teach it is to sign my death warrant. I do have other disciplines I can help you with."
