Droz walks through the pit, and stops to consider the house that he had been to before.

"JTM seemed like a nice guy, and he said that i could come over later if i wanted, and it is later i do believe."

Droz takes out a gift wrapped box and walks up and knocks lightly on the front door.

JTM watches his cell phone start dancing on the table.

“Great!!! Who the fuck could this be!!!”

He grabs his phone looking at it, seeing that Otto is calling him, then there’s a knock at the door. He looks over to Barbie who is still crying from having to leave Miranda’s party so abruptly.

“Ok, fine. I’ll get the door. You just blow your nose.”

He lets the call go to voicemail, getting up from the couch, grabbing his bat tightly before moving to the door, unlocking the deadbolts. He opens the door looking at Droz, with bat in hand, sizing up the guy with his gift in his hand.

“Yeah, what the fuck do you want!!!”

Benjamin arrives at JTM's house on foot, having taken this extra time to think about the upcoming conversation. He notices someone already at the door, and that JTM is already talking to him; he walks up to them without saying anything.

JTM notices Benjamin walking to his door. His bat gets clenched way tighter now.

“What do you want, Colonel Walker! I left the galerie and have stayed here. Ask Barbie if you don’t believe me.”

"I have no need to ask Barbie anything. I came to speak to you." Benjamin continues to stand outside with Droz.

JTM nods still pissed.

“Ok. Fine. C’mon in. Pull up a seat. Same goes for you Droz.”

He motions them both into his place.

Benjamin will follow Droz into the house. If he notices that JTM has the bat in his hand, he shakes his head a bit. "This isn't THAT kind of a social call, JTM. Unless that is you wish...?"

JTM watches them enter, quickly locking the deadbolt behind them, shutting the door. He looks at them. He sets his bat on his table next to Barbie and the Kleenex, then wanders to the kitchen to grab more beers for them. He places them in front of Droz and Benjamin. He then sits down on the table facing them. He takes a sip of his beer, bat next to him.

“No. I’m not looking for a fight, but I’m expecting one after the scene at the galerie. You know what I mean. So what brings you down here this time of night, Colonel? You got biz or you wanna kick my ass like everyone in this city seems to want to.”

He looks at Benjamin somewhat calming down.

“I didn’t do anything wrong, honest. I just bought some gifts for people. I didn’t see any harm in that at all. Hell I’m not even sure what set her off in the first place. I never meant to do that, you believe me don’t ya?”

Benjamin watches JTM very carefully as he sets his bat aside, then relaxes noticeably. He takes the offered seat and the beer, sipping on it lightly. "Thank you for your hospitality, JTM." It is obvious that Benjamin has no intention of starting a fight.

He then listens as JTM explains his intentions for the party, and for Maddalena specifically. "I see. I do want to believe you, JTM. I do not want to believe that you would honestly intend to publicly humiliate Maddalena in Miranda's personal domain. But you do understand that is what happened?"
