Thread: A phone call (attn: JTM)

JTM notices the caller ID on his cell and immediately picks it up.

“Hello. Boone??? Or is that Mr. Boone?”

"Boone is fine, although many call me Mr Boone. Either way, I will need to borrow your bat for a short time. Would you like me to pick it up from your place or what?"

“Ummmm ..yeah sure. I guess, but I’ll have to meet you some where. Name the time and place, and I’ll be there. Just one question running in the back of my head though. How long is this gonna take? Will I have my baby back within the next couple of days so I can go patrolling with it?”

"Of course you'll have it back. Should have it back to you the same night. Should I just come by your place and get it or do you want to meet somewhere else?"

“Yeah. I can meet you at my place. Here is my address. (gives you his address and directions to his house). I’ll be waiting for you there. See you soon, Boone.”

Boone arrives in short order and assuming you hand over the bat, it should be returned to JTM within a couple of hours...with a bonus....

JTM hands Boone the bat reluctantly, waiting for its safe return back into his hands. A couple hours pass and his bat comes back to him as he clutches it, hugging and kissing his bat, very ecstatic for its return to him. He puts it back in his trenchcoat.

"Thanks. Boone"

"Glad I and my associates could assist you. We don't require anything in return at this time. I do, however, ask that you remember this gift."

Boone would leave after giving his respects to JTM.
