Thread: house calls. (jtm & mackenzie)

Mackenzie listens closely to Kendov's words and when they stop she grabs the items he indicated. "Watch my mouth, got it." She raises an eyebrow. "Barbie? Okay, not asking..." She stands next to Kendov at the entrance to the home, the sleeves of her green sweater pulled down. She looks at her dirty white tennis shoes and thinks that she needs to buy some new ones.

JTM wakes up this night, still bummed about Valentine’s Day. His ride out was soothing to say the least. He slinks over to the fridge looking like total crap. He grabs a beer from it sluggishly walking to the living room where Barbie sits. Before he can even sit down, the typical knock on the door happens.

“Oh great. Who the fuck could this be?”

Scratching his head, he looks over to Barbie and Mini-Barbie.

“Are we expecting company? Oh yeah, you’re right, maybe that’s her. Cool. Gotta say SHE's early this time.”

He sets down his beer on the table, walks over to the door opening it, admiring the jalopy in his driveway which fits this area’s motif. He doesn’t really view who’s standing there before speaking and his brain kicks in.

“Hey S...….er uh Kendov!!!! What brings you down here to JTM town man? Come on it. Pull up a seat. You want a beer? And oh my bad, you brought company? Name’s JTM and you are?”

He looks back at Barbie somewhat upset.

You didn’t tell me he was coming down here shame on you!!!

" just a un planned visit i hope we arnt keeping you from anything. " he moved out of the way to present mackenzie " this is the newly acknowledged gangrel in the city. we where close by anddecided to bring you a gift"

he holds up his 6 pack of imported beer. "this is my contribution and she has brought you something for a few nights " he nods to the larger pack

Mackenzie smiles at JTM and holds up her present. "My name's Mackenzie. It's nice to meet you."

“Oh ok You didn’t set it up with Barbie, cool. Pleased to meet you Mackenzie. Any friend of Kendov’s is cool in my book.”

He wonders why she didn’t put her hand there for him to kiss. He puts his hand out there to meet Mackenzie halfway. He looks back over to Barbie.

“K, you’re off the hook this time. Oh yeah, Barbie and Mini-Barbie say hey too. Let me get that for ya. Pull up a seat. You want a beer? Make yourself at home.”

He lets them in locking the door. He takes their gifts and moves them into the fridge.

Great!!! Now what the fuck am I gonna do if SHE shows up? SHE wanted to meet me alone I bet too. Fuck!!! Hmmmm……think JTM…think!!!! I’m so screwed now.

He walks over to his table and sits down waiting for them to kick back as well. He opens his beer, taking a sip.

“So what brings you here to JTM town, Kendov. Oh wait, let me guess, Mackenzie’s your new main squeeze, am I right? What do I win for guessing corretly? Congratulations are in order then. You guys look like you’d make a good couple anyways. Trust me, Mackenzie, Kendov is picky on who he lets in his world you know. And what exactly do you do Mackenzie? That’s gotta be your car outside Mackenzie, cause Kendov just loves getting blisters and callouses on his feet all the time walking everywhere. I keep telling him he needs a ride so he can stop grumbling, but does he listen to me…hell no!!! Tinactin, dude, that whats you need. Oh yeah, how long have you guys been together, my bad.”

He chuckles abit waiting to see what’s next.

he came in further chuckling at the misconception " im afraid we are not that type of couple. she wishes to learn more about the night life so we are out on a bit of an excursion. to tell the truth we cannot stay long but i thought she needed to meet a good companion to call if something goes wrong "

he opens one of the beers drinking some of it.

" as for a vehicle i think i might take you up on that offer. i have loosened up some of my overseas assets and can pay for the service. im afraid i do not have much luck in buying vehicles."

Mackenzie appears shocked at JTM's bluntness, but quickly recovers and listens to Kendov's explaination. She frowns slightly and politely declines a beverage. She takes a seat on the couch and takes in the huge TV. "Very nice."

“Oh. ok, that makes sense now. Clan, but not that much (pause for effect) IN CLAN…gotcha gotcha. My apologies on that. It just reminds me of a bad National Geographic special, Wolves gone wild!!, that’s all.”

He looks over to Mackenzie, looking at his big TV. He grabs the remote, flipping it on to MTV with the volume slowly going down, as the music video roll on by the big screen , as he forgot it was still loud from last night.

“Oh this thing? That’s a Tino special. He’s a cool guy too. Housewarming giftfrom him, but thanks for the compliment. . It’s got everything I need in a TV and more. If you need one of these, I can hook you up with it, but where would you plug it in out there in the woods anyways? Just curious”

He scratches his heading trying not think too long on that.

"Well Mackenzie, you came to the right place. I’m what you call the city’s go to guy around these parts, You need anything, and I mean anything, let me know. I’ll see what I can do to get it. You got digits for your number? Regardless, here’s mine for you.(gives you JTM’s number) Feel free to stop by my place anytime, but call first to let me and the Barbie’s know you are coming. Lately our time is getting more and more booked, but I’ll see what I can do to squeeze either one of ya in., cool?”

He then looks over at Kendov.

“A ride? About damn time you ask me for that. I’ll see what I can do for ya. I know some good street hook ups that will get you into having the best pimp daddy styling and profiling mother fucking billy baddass automobile to tote your Kendov Fast and the Furious ass all around town and I’m sure I could work on a SWEET deal to get it. Just one question, though What color do ya want it?”

He sits there still.

So far so good, no knock from HER yet.
