Monthly Interview: Darlene!

I've decided to interview a member of MGP each month and while I had a great interview of Maharet in the works we had a little mix up in information (look for her interview next month) ... this month, however, Darlene was nice enough to sit down with me and answer a few questions.

<DeAnna> Thanks for taking the time to talk with us, Darlene. How long have you been playing White Wolf Games such as Vampire the Masquerade and Werewolf the Apocalypse and how did you get involved in them?


<Darlene> I've been playing since about 2001. I got involved in Dungeons and Dragons my freshman year of college and I was introduced to White Wolf Games a few years after that.


<DeAnna> Tell us a bit about why you enjoy this type of gaming & how you found us.


<Darlene> It's easy to get involved. You can post in the threads or have chat games and then the Live Action games are awesome. It's not difficult to build a character and everyone is very helpful to you as a new player here. I found out about this through a friend who was already playing. He told me about it and I tried it out. Once I started I was addicted...now I have a hard time not always talking about what my characters are doing


<DeAnna> Do you have any other hobbies besides hanging out here at MGP all the time? We all know how awesome it is here but if you DID have other things you liked to do...


<Darlene> LOL Yes, I like reading and writing...written some story lines for characters that I've played in tabletop and ones I want to play. I have written poetry, not too bad at it. I also play other table top role playing games.


<DeAnna> Tell us one thing about yourself that might shock or surprise others to know.


<Darlene> I had my tongue pierced and hid it from my parent's because they were paying for my wedding. I knew they wouldn't approve. The day of the wedding I was singing and dancing around before the ceremony and my sister saw it and her and my mother confronted me...kinda soured the day for a while LOL


<DeAnna> OMG! On your wedding day!?! WOW! That’s rough. All readers would love to know this one... Without giving too much away, what sort of things do you see your characters doing in the near future?


<Darlene> Darlene will continue to watch and learn what she can from the others around. Nikki, poor girl, will hopefully be able to get back to her passion of healing people in a hospital setting.


<DeAnna> That’s awesome so… Random Question of the Moment: Last thing that made you laugh so hard you almost cried or spit your drink


<Darlene> Last thing?? Well, when I'm in the chatroom it's hard to ever take a drink, seriously. We are some funny people.


<DeAnna> If you could ask one question that you'd like the next person interviewed to have to answer, what would it be?

<Darlene> What was an embarrassing moment your character had in game?
