Split Forums?

I have to ask: Is there no way that we can split the forums so that on the main page not everything is a melded together mess of forums? Can we make it so that we can see just the vampire or just the werewolf on the main page? I would ideally hope that we could have a Werewolf login and a Vampire login in and not have to use the same log in for simplicities sake.

Just seems really confusing and mingled to me.

Here here...I think that would be a phenominal idea...personally, I hate having my vampire sig coming up on my garou posts...

Hell, even just a toggle option that would let us select which of our sigs and avatars to attach to a post would be friggin' sweet.

I'm not sure we can "split" per se without buying an entire other set up.

You can do what I do though. Go to Subscribers and you will note there is a link to Vampire Forums and one to Werewolf Forums.

This takes you directly to a page with those forums only to peruse at your leisure.

As for Siggies, rotating ones is likely the best option, but we will look to see if someone has made a mod for such a thing!

here is the link to a mod i used when i was modding some boards about a year ago that allowed for multiple sigs, and the poster was able to select which sig they wanted to use.

Thanks for the link to the mod - I was just considering that.

Later today, I think, vbulletin is going to be releasing the gold version of their latest update (meaning it's supported by their support staff) so I may be working with that and I'll see about importing that mod or a similar one when I do. Then again, maybe the new version will allow members to have multiple signatures and choose which they use.

For now, I suggest a rotating signature like mine that shows all the pcs you play equally as it's always changing. Just be sure that it doesn't flip through the images so fast that no one can read it.

could we just have 2 logins?? that way we could log in for one venue and then log in for the other...??

The way the site ties your login together with the subscriber status would not let two log ins work I'm afraid.

As we grow it would become a nightmare to manually make sure that everyone has the proper access etc.
