Rudolfo sits going through stacks of applications laughing at some of them." You think i will pay you 15$ an hour to film stuff with no experience you are an imbacile." His cell phone rings with a simple tone looking at it he answers quickly. " Yes cugino? I am close I will be there quickly." Rudolfo limps out of his office and tells the secritary to close up when done.

Rudolfo pulls up not far from the alleyway and limps down it carrying a small bag of items. " What happened cugino? " He leans over looking to see how he can help.

As Rudolfo walks down the alley with bag in hand Constantino is squatting over the victim of the attack. Hearing his cousins approach he finishes daubing the blood from her face and stands. Tucking the handkerchief back into his coat with one hand he sighs and runs his free hand over his bald head looking to his compartiate.

"She was attacked by a couple mooks. They had to be ghouls. Inhuman stength and at least a bit of Speed." He keeps his words quiet and his terms masquerade friendly. His eyes dart from shadow to shadow. "I couldn't catch up to them before they disappeared but I put a tail on them. They took a briefcase from the girl. I'll explain further once we get her body into the van. Back it up to the mouth of the alley so no body can see us move it."

Constantino again squats beside the girl searching for a purse or any personal belongings. He takes care not to take undue advantage of the body although his clans nature would permit, even encourage such a thing. After he is done he purses his lips again and stares at her face. With the back of his hand he brushes her bloodstained hair from her eyes and runs his hand down her cool, delicate cheek. His mind dances with random thoughts. Victoria Wentworth. Such beauty wasted. Were they ours. What is in that case. Did the wraith catch the men. Poor girl. Kirsi....

Rudolfo leaves the bag sitting next to Constantino and limps back to van backing it up to the mouth of the alley. He will then help Constantino with the girl.

Constantino cradles the girl in his arms and lifts her from the filthly alley floor. He begins to walk toward the van, never looking away from the girls broken, but peaceful face.

"Cugino, she mentioned a name that is rather interesting. If I am correct about her attackers, they are family. We're going to need to make sure they don't succeed in accomplishing their task. Which means business here is going to have to wait for a couple days. If I'm correct, these goons will be hopping a plane at the earliest opportunity. Get your boys over to the airport immediately and have them start looking at flights for any family strongholds. Chicago. New York. Boston. Anywhere in Italy. I'm hoping my tail will know what flight they take but we can't take chances."

Constantino gently lifts the girl into the back of the van, thinking it an unfitting ride for the innocent victim. "Take her to the mansion and once Kalie meets me, I'll bring her there and give you both the details."

Rudolfo drives the van to the mansion dialing numbers contacting his tansportation influences to track the individuals. Other than his calls he remains silent on the trip to the mansion.

"I am here now." Kalie says as she moves around the corner of the building and slides sideways between the van and the brick wall of the building. She takes one look at the girl and turns her gaze to Constantino.

Constantino places the girls body down on the floor of the van, as he notices Kalie slip between the wall and door. Needlessly he makes the girl comfortable, before closing the doors and tapping on the van signaling Rudolfo to take off.

As the van pulls away Constantino turns to Kalie. "She was beaten like a dog and killed, but not before her attackers took a briefcase from her. I couldn't get to her fast enough to make a difference." Sorrow crosses over Tino's face. "Her attackers looked to be .... " Constantino turns and looks around, making sure there are no onlookers or pedestrians passing by. "They looked Italian. I think they may have been some of those rogue elements I told you about. ...Walk with me, we're pressed for time."

Constantino heads towards his shiny new sports car. Opening the door, he leans on it and looks back across the top of the car to Kalie. "I'm guessing you are wondering what this has to do with you?" He waits for any kind of reaction before speaking again. "Because. as she was dying, she said the case needed to go to Victoria...in Lyon, France."

Constantino clicks the button in his pocket to unlock her door.

"I don't know if it is just a coincidence, but I doubt it. Two Italians stealing something from a woman named Victoria from France." Tino shakes his head. "Get in, we'll leave your keys with Emma and decide where to go from there."

Constantino slips down into the ferarri and coaxes the V12 engine to life as he waits for Kalie.

As Kalie listens to him describe the assault upon the girl, her mannerism softens slightly knowing the true depth of Tino's sorrows. When he mentions the nationality of the attackers her gaze narrows and her brows knit in contemplation. She looks downward in thought a moment until he asks her to walk with him. She nods and walks with him to her car. As he stops near the door to his side she continues to walk around to the passenger side.

Opening the door, he leans on it and looks back across the top of the car to Kalie. "I'm guessing you are wondering what this has to do with you?"

She quietly replies, “Le vostre preoccupazioni sono le mie preoccupazioni, il fratello”

As he begins to walk her through his train of thoughts she nods her head in agreement and concurring with his assessment.

Getting into the car after he unlocks it and roars the powerful engine to life, she buckles up and comments, “You know normally I would have said that your conclusions were mere possibilities without concrete evidence to support them, and that by acting upon your assumptions like this was evidence that I was starting to corrupt you with my impulsive ways.” She smirks a bit as she continues on, “That might still be the case, however, it would seem witheverything else being drawn to Lamar in these terminal nights… why not something like this as well. It is definitely something to investigate.”

Constantino speeds back to the mansion with Kalie in the passenger seat. For a brief moment blue and red lights can be seen flashing behind him, but they quickly give up the idea of pursuit.

"If it is her, I need to know what she is up to here. We both know she has ties to the area. What we don't know is exactly what she has interest in here or who she has working here."

Constantino pulls into the lot beside the van and exits quickly. He almost bounds up the stairs calling out for Guiseppe as he opens the door. He looks over his shoulder to Kalie to make sure she is keeping pace. The ghoul walks into the ballroom wondering what the hell is going on.

"Guiseppe, Prepare my bags. I'll be leaving on a short trip I believe. After you have done that, prepare the body that Rudolfo brought in and prepare it to ship to me in Lyon, France. I'll call you with an address when I arrive."

He makes his way into the study, and takes a glass of Scotch from the bar. He gestures to the sofa. "Kalie, Rudolfo, have a seat and we'll discuss this while we wait for our contacts to return."
