Homeless Clinics Up and Rolling

The first part of Mayor Gillespie’s new Hammers for Hands program is getting rolling today, and I meant rolling. Mobile Care units have been moving into the Pit area to set up make shift clinics to bring medical attention to the most downtrodden of Lamar’s residents, all part of Mayor Gillespie’s new Hammers for Hands program. Chief of Barton County Medical Center, Hanna Starling, confirmed that that all the resources that the Mayor has requested will be ready per the time table that the Barton County Medical Board and the Mayor’s office has already discussed.

Assistant to the Office of the Mayor, Michael Perrino was able to verify that free Mobile Clinics will be set up in Marshal-Pitt area for those that do not want to take advantage of the busing that will be provided to Barton County Med Center
