LAMAR BRUTE SQUAD BURNS UP THE PIT! Ozark Inquisitor

By April May

The streets of Lamar’s Marshal Pitt Projects are quiet tonight, quiet with a pal of fear as the least fortunate sons and daughters of Lamar head to their beds with one question;
Will they be the next ones pulled from their homes and put to the jackboot of the Lamar Police Department?

Over the past few months, The Marshall Pitt Projects have seen multiple instances of deadly fires and sudden disappearances. According to a source that wishes to remain anonymous, these may be the work of the LPD’s infamous Gang Squad, once lead by golden boy Detective Terrence Lawson.

You may remember Detective Lawson from his days as Lamar's knight in shining armor during the vicious Drug wars of the late 90's and early 2000's.

What’s more, the Rogue Squad may even be responsible for the recent death of a young man from the Pit area.

It seems young Mr. Tony Rodriguez was out on parole for some nasty things his gang did back in 2007, going up the river for Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Felony Firearms Assault and Assisted Manslaughter. And when the Rogue Squad went looking for someone to get info from, Mr Rodriguez’s name was high on their list. And two days after he disappeared, Tony Rodriguez shows up dead in Muddy Creek. Was it an interrogation gone bad? Was it an attempted escape that went foul? Only Tony, and his captors know for sure.

Of course, The Lamar Metro DA and Lamar Police Chief refuse to comment. But the Inquisitor will be keeping a vigilant eye out for the good of the People of Lamar!
