Virtuoso Kirsi Caruso, Dead at 20 - Public Viewing To Be Held
by: Andrea O'Riely
Police report today that 20 year old Kirsi Caruso, operetic virtuoso and local singing sensation Venus, was found dead in her home Saturday evening caused by an over dose of heroin.
Caruso first made headlines as the lead singer Venus of local band Fireflight but, was no stranger to fame as one of the last known known descendants of famed Opera singer Enrico Caruso.
As Caruso rose to local fame she was cast in the lead role of upcoming and eagerly anticipated "Carmen." Shortly after being announced in the role, however, Ms. Caruso was kidnapped and given the drug Heroin by her captors. It is speculated that Ms. Caruso was haunted by her terrible experience and was never able to overcome the challenges put before her despite a return to the stage of the newly rebuild Club Indigo only a month ago.
Ms. Caruso is survived by her Uncle Constantino Giovanni, Aunt Sophia Giovanni, and cousin Torin Dunsirn as well as her children Constantino Augustus and Emelia Marie Giovanni and a third baby which she had legally adopted only a few months ago, Anthony Michael Caruso.
An open to the public viewing will be held at Ms. Caruso's family home here in Lamar Heights. Flowers, cards and well-wishes may also be sent there. Viewing begins at 8pm.

OOC: The public service is being held Friday at 8pm. There will be a thread posted in the Gio Mansion section of Lamar Heights. We thought it would be fun to do a traditional italian funeral, especially since it clashes so drastically with the Giovanni clan itself.
