"New to Town (attn: Tore primogen/any)"
"Coffee of Doom?"
"Weird name, fast service, and entertaining servers. I like it." Chirped Cindy the Realtor, who had perked up in the presence of her preferred beverage.
After receiving their drinks they sat down at a table where Cindy proceded to pull a small laptop from her bag. "I think that there is an apartment for sale near here, if you would like to see it."
"I think I would" replied the lady
"It's just a short walk... I'm sorry, your name has escaped me."
"Laurens" was the reply "Oh and have you ever heard of an Ash Winters? Some friends told me to get in contact with him."
-
The black Denali pulled into the parking lot of the studio and parked in its reserved spot. The doors opened and three men got out making their way to the door. The driver stopped and watched the two women speaking on the sidewalk. Taking a drag from his cigarette, he scanned quickly, hearing the heartbeat of of one of them. With a confident stride he made his way to them.
"Good evening ladies...you look lost. Is there anything I can do to help?"
-
The small one without a heart beat smiled and said "Would you happen to be the person I was told to get in contact with? My name is Laurens"
She then looked beside her to Cindy the Realtor and said "If you'll excuse us for just a few moments."
"No problem" Cindy replied " I'll just go and have a seat on that bench."
-
Flashing a million dollar smile, he shakes his head as his *enchanting voice* ushers forth honey sweet sounds. "I wish that I were. Though I am aquainted with him. New to town, I presume? This is Old Towne, and definately the best kept Rose bush of Lamars Garden." He drags again from the cigarette, letting the cloud of smoke rise from around him.
-
"Oh, That is wonderful. Cindy was just about to show me an apartment near here. I am new to town and to get a place in the bast kept Rose Bush right off would be a stroke of luck." Was the delicate brunets reply. She had placed an emphasis on Rose that was an obvious innuendo.
"Would you mind telling me if my memory is correct. I believe Ash Winters was the person I am needing to contact. I am so nervous. I was hoping to choose a Place first to steady my nerves before I introduced myself, and now I'm babbling, sorry."
Blue eyes looked up at the smoking gentleman betraying an innocence that the innuendo had tried to hide.
-
He smiles again as his gaze settles upon her equally entracing eyes. Her emotions read to him without the need for any gift of the blood. He trails the smoke in the winter chill, looking at her chest momentarily and then to the mortal companion sitting not so far away. Leaning in close in the blink of an eye he whispers only one word, "breathe."
"As I said, Mr. Winters is an aquaintence of mine, and I'm sure he would be happy to make yours as well. Here's my card...my studio is just right here....when you're settled, let me know, and I'll arrange a meeting. Should you need to get out, or get a bite to eat, call me......the Museum at {blah blah teleblah} is one of the finest in the city and is quite safe."

"Oh My, are you asking me on a date? " She sighed with an effected southern drawl and held the card to her chest. "Why, I don't remember the last time I went on a real Date!"
The long looking culottes and sport jacket made her flirting somewhat incongruous with her appearance, but her chest had started rise and fall in an unconscious looking rhythm. She seemed to laugh at her own little joke.
"I believe that would be wonderful idea. I shall call you once I am settled in. Would you mind also providing me with Mr. Winters number, so that I may call him to set up an appointment at his leisure?" As she was asking she pulled a small pen out of a pocket and made as if to wright on the back of the business card.
