Thread: sister in is in the house. ( Ash and ST only) 5/11

After Ash closed and locked the front door he moves to close the blind of the front window. Returning to be close to the two he grabs hold of the daggers concealed in his coat.

"She is a dead thing. There is no life in her. Step away from her Lydia."

Lydia listens to what Ash says and nods. "Yes, I know. But why are they doing this? How much more are they going to try and hurt me? What have I done and to who?"

Looking at her sister. "I know you are not Laurie. She died." Frowning she takes a step back still in between her and Ash.

"Who sent you? Why are you here?" She waits for an answer.

Laurie looks hurt. "But I AM your sister! I'm not dead... at least... I don't think I am I mean I'm standing here in front of you right now, how can I be dead if we're talking? Lydia please, you have to help me..." She grips her stomach and falls to her knees.

"It hurts so bad, I'm SOOOOOO hungry!" She cries but has no tears.

With a swiftness not shown very often Lydia moves like the speed of light grabbing Laurie by the neck and lifting her up and looking her in the eyes.

"DO NOT TEST ME CHILD" Dropping her "you will not like the rewards for that."

A small movement catches her eye and she glances at Ash then turns back to Laurie

"Think on this very carefully. You like to think you are my sister but she is dead. Someone has done this. Tell me who or what has done this. I would love to have you back in my life, but until I know who is doing what I can not help you."

Laurie cries, "I ... I don't know, all I can remember is ... is a thing, standing over me. He told me where I could find you, he left me here. He... he... wasn't right. Like he was burned really bad... PLEASE LYDIA STOP YOU'RE HURTING ME!"

Ash simply waits and watches Lydia's reaction. His hands never leave the daggers still hidden under his jacket.

Lydia looks at Laurie confused "He was burned? Did you ask why he would do this for you? Did you ask who or what he was? No you just thought of yourself. Why?"

Lydia fights the tears threatening to fall. "I can't do this anymore. You are not real. I love the real Laurie. You are not her."

"DID I ASK? NO I DIDN'T ASK ... FUCK IF YOU'RE RIGHT I WAS DEAD!" she screams. "WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO SAY LYDIA? THAT I'M SORRY I DIED? THAT I'M SORRY I FUCKING WAS MURDERED? I'M SORRY LYDIA... I'M SORRY THEY KILLED ME! I'M SORRY YOU GOT TO LIVE AND YOU GOT TO LAUGH AND KNOW JOY AND LIFE AND ALL THE THINGS I WAS ROBBED OF ... I'M FUCKING SUCK WITH SORROW OVER IT!" She storms towards the door, clearly crying but without tears.

"Just let me go... it's clear I'm not wanted here." She says to Ash. "I just want to leave, please..."

Ash stands in front of the door and shakes his head. "I am afraid I can't let you do that. You cannot go out in public as you are. I will not allow it."
