Kalie's car pulls up and Logan exits it quietly. He turns around and looks his sire in the eyes.

"Hey, seriously? Thanks, I really mean that."

He closes the car door and heads to the apt building. He looks at the buzzer next to the door and presses the button for Ms Winters.

Amanda company arrived just as she was finished getting around and just sat down in the living room. She stood up quickly and made her way to the door in a timely manner.

"Hello dear Logan!" Amanda offered her hand out to shake it. "How are you this evening?"

Logan smiles as she opens the door. He's wearing a black leather biker jacket over a simple black tee shirt with Jeans and boots. His black sunglasses reflect Amanda's gaze back to her as Logan takes her and shakes it carefully.

"Hey. I'm cool. Thanks for asking."

"Can I come in? Or are we hitting the road?"

"More then welcome to come in Mr.....?" She was uncertain of the last name. She stood back to allow room for Logan to comfortably pass. She then closes and locks the door behind them. "I feel we can do our business here, wouldn't you say?" She motions for him to follow her into her living room.

"Logan FiveSands. But just call me Logan, if that's cool?"

Logan walks into the room looking around to get the feel of the place. "Sure, that'd be cool."

"So, we really didn't get to meet before. You're Amanda, right?"

"Amanda Olivia Winters!" Amanda said proudly and with a smile. "Please have a seat anywhere." She motioned to all the places to seat in the living room. "Before we get to business, would you like something to drink? Or have any questions?" Amanda sat down on the couch facing the foyer.

Logan shakes his head and takes a seat. "Not any questions I can think of, Ms. Winters. Should I call you that or can I call you Amanda?"

Logan moves to the couch next to Amanda. "Sitting will be fine. I'll sit wherever you want me."

"We can keep chatting or get down to the dirt, so to say. Something I want to say first is, Thanks."

"I mean, I know you're doing this for my sire. But I'm the one benefitin' from it."

"So, anyway, where do we start?

"Show me what you can do." Amanda sat patiently. "I doubt it is to far out of your blood line. Surely you can impress me a little?" Amanda raised a questioning eyebrow. "If not, we can fix this issue," she let out a confident smile, "but go ahead! Try me."

"Impress you? So I have to impress you now? It's funny, in all the movies and tv shit you hear how 'sacred' life is, same thing from the politicians and preachers." Logan smirks slightly.

"If they were right, then just us sitting here, talking, *existing*, should be impressive, if not near fucking miraculous. We're dead, but I'm hardly going to roll over and die, right?"

"But that's just it. It was all bullshit. What do they know about *living*? I mean, really? Do you think they give a fuck about how many sunrises they have left? Do they really know how to grab life and really *live*? If I were still alive, I'd be squeezing every second, like it was all I had left."

Logan leans back, his shades reflecting her image back to her. "Have I impress'ed you?" Logan shrugs. "Hell if I know, but I fucking refuse to live with regrets. And that's more than most from what I can tell."
