Ash looked up from his work when he heard the car door close and saw a figure in the light coming from the streetlight near by through the window. Seeing the condition of the car he wondered if the man was lost. You usually didn't see cars in that condition in Old Town. Well he is parked outside my building and looking this way so whoever it is must be here to see me. Ash puts down his tools, wipes his hands, and then heads to the door.

Using his heightened senses to pierce the evenings darkness he recognizes the form of Kendov. Ash seems a bit taken a back as he ponders why the Gangrel primogen would be visiting him. Calling across the street, "Kendov, come on in." Ash beckons to Kendov to come into the studio.

he stopped at the door to the car hearing the call

he turned to answer i just need to retreive something from my vehicle. he reached in picking up a rolled leather scroll and walked back to the door entering.

" good evening mister winters. i am sorry to call on your without notice. i sometimes forget manners sometimes" as he moved in further he was surprised at the workshops mundane-ness

Ash chuckles, "My shop is always open in the evening for people to come in. I am pretty lax on people visiting me without notice. Especially for those that are here for business."
Ash waves his arm around the room to the various pieces. "So what is it that brings you to my door this evening?"

he nodded at the reasoning as he continued to look around a bit.

" i had heard that if i was looking for raw materials you would be able to help me i am in need of some help crafting something. or more likely with the recent events need them made entirely but dont worry i have money i can pay for them. " setting the leather scroll down he unrolled it the inside showing the proto germanic runes he wished created scrawled on it.

Ash looks at the ancient scroll before him. He reaches out his hand as if to touch the scroll itself, but he stops short and looks to Kendov. "This is VERY old. I do not wish to touch it, but if I may I would like to use the sight my blood grants me on it. I assure you in no way will it cause any harm to it. I simply wished to ask your permission as I have never seen something so ancient. May I?"

kendov nodded as he reached for it " you may use hand or eye whichever you need to do the work. it is the first written copy of my human life's clan. i was lucky enough to take it when i left."

Ash nods and places his hand over the scroll, not actually touching it, but just hovering over it. He closes his eyes and lets the spirit of the scroll tell its story to him. His eyes move behind the lids as if he was dreaming. The eyes dart back and forth for a few minutes and then a wail of terror tears out of his throat. His eyes fly wide open and the beast is clearly visible in them darting around the room in stark terror. He rushes from the main room into the darkness of the back of the studio. A few moments pass and a shaky voice calls out, "Please excuse me for a moment, Kendov. I wasn't...prepared for that. Allow me a moment to compose myself."

Water can be heard coming from the back and then rustling. A few more minutres pass and Ash comes out wearing clean clothes. A small amount of blood sweat can be seen as he finishes cleaning himself off.

"I am sorry, Kendov. I wasn't prepared to experience the fire that surrounded you and I am afraid my beast got the better of me." Ash says as he comes from the back to see if Kendov is even still there.

he watched as the man ran to the back cocking his head in curiosity. as he came back he nodded to the man. " i am sorry, the scroll has been with me through out the times. i have heard emotion and events can leave marks upon an item or person that cannot be seen without the power of a seer. i should have warned you of its long journey with me. are you ok though ? perhaps you should sit for a moment. " he felt odd offering a chair to someone in thier own home
