Thread: Arrival of more new faces (attn: anyone)

Aelofin's pace never quickens he never seems to hurry. He is at peace and enjoying his time with Gaia. He quietly listens to her directions and narrowing his wandering path. He can feel that he is getting closer to home and for some reason to him this place already feels like home. Maybe that is why Gaia took his pack away from him. Even though he was not the alpha it was his pack.They had gone through so much together that they were family. And for the first time in a great while he was whole again. He then remembers where he is at and pulls himself from his revelry.

His wanderings have brought him to an area that seems to have more access to it. He slowly moves around the area noticing cows and signs of farmers. Not wanting to get shot at by some trigger happy farmer gaurding his livestock Aelofin stays out of sight. He uses the deepening shadows of night to prevent beeing seen. Seeing a wolf would exite comment enough but one with a Duffel slung accross it's back that would draw bad attention.

Well day one done and strange enough no Garou yet. Must be to far out yet. Probably tomorrow i'll be close enough.

Aelofin slides off his duffel, looks around for anyone, sniffs the air, and waits for a moment. Then confindent he is alone he shifts back to homid for a quick moment and pulls some dried meats from his duffel. Quickly he rezips the duffel looks around and shifts back to lupis. He then chows down on the meat and grabs a quick drink from the snow still found under some trees. He puts the duffel on the side closest to the tree and catches some quick naps waiting for the sun to rise.

Lesson one you never explore in potentialy hostile territory at night. Especially if the terrain is unfamiliar and you have no current allieswho know the terrain. Also lesson two is catch quick naps just to keep yourself alert but never go all the way asleep. Remain aware of everything and everywhere so long as your alive you can catch up on sleep.

A gangly young man of about 18 comes striding out of the treeline as Aelofin wanders near the edge of the bawn. The kid has a strange device in his hand who's use would be readily apparent to any Star Trek fan. It was a tricorder. He notices Aelofin and approaches him cautiously.

"Hi there, you lost?"

Aelofin looks at the young man intrigued that this child would walk up to a full grown wolf. He looks at the tricorder in the young man's hand.

S**t that looks like someting a weaver spirit would carry.Crap I hope this is at least a kinfolk with a crush Star Trek. He could be a Glasswalker though.... Let's let him make the next move.

Aelofin slowly rises to full height. He knows that his white streak across the top of his head marks him out. As do the other battle scars that cross his chest, side, front left leg, and down his right leg. The only one that is truly noticeable is the white one that starts above his left eye and goes back across his head. At full height his Dire wolf appearance would intimidate any normal individual. He watches the newcomer patiently waiting for his next comment or action.

Jared looks the huge direwolf over carefully. He points the tricorder at the wolf, then reads a little screen on top of it.

"Says here yer Gaian and a-ok. What's your name?"

Aelofin growels out in Wolf what about the litany and waits for a respose.

This should let me know if he is Garou.

Jared looks mildly disgruntled. "I'm not breaking the Litany. You came here, I live here, so you introduce yourself first." He frowns and fiddles with his tricorder.

" My apologies for my rudeness but I have traveled a long way. And you can never be to cautious. I am Aelofin Connoly Fianna Ahroun Claith once of the Rocky Creek sept of the Turtle Cove Caern."

Hopefully staying in Lupis won't further the possible insult that he could have taken to my initial response.

" I have been granted release to serve Gaia here and make a stand by my brothers and sisters. I have traveled from Mich. and my journey needs to be heared. If it would please the caern."

Aelofin waits for the young mans response.

Jared nods "I'm Jared, known as Com-Link. Cliath Glass Walker Galliard, Homid. Welcome to Roadkill Range. If you sit tight, I'll go get Thunder's Tempest-rhya, the alpha."

"I will wait here" Aelofin says as he sits down to wait.
