Thread: Can't Beat the Meat ... Steak That Is. (Dark Riders Only)

Samara exits the vehicle looking at her pack-mates, then looks at the steakhouse. She closes her eyes and deeply inhales the smell of the food inside. She opens her eyes to smile at Tala and then looks at the rest of her pack.

"This is going to be good."

She watches Wapoke and Sebastian to see their reactions.

Wapoke stands in place like an animal dressed up and unable to move. He dident know that they would be inside for the meal. He stood looking at the open door as if trying to decided how best to get from were he was at, inside and done with this. He moves forward, like kid in an overstuffed winter jacket. He movements are very unatural and he looks like he could fall to his hands and knees at any moment. He manages to make it to the doorway without to much confushion and attention drawn to him. He glances over at Tala with a 'Why the hell are we doing this?" look.
He starts moving through the door and begins to shift down to Lupis, pausing as he fights it. He quickly takes a step back regaining control and looks at everyone with the "OMG WTF" look of a scared animal on his face.

Tala puts a comforting hand on wapoke's shoulder. "Like a cave," she whispers. "They're bringing us our meal in a cave... that's all." She gives the lupus a reassuring smile.

"Stay near the pack. We're can face anything together Wapoke." Tala strides out front of the group and chooses a booth to sit at, near a window so Wapoke feels a bit more at ease.

She stands right behind Wapoke that way if he turns around his packmate will be there, she only wanted to be a support for him at this time. She knew that this was hard for him, so she whispers.

"It's okay. We're all here for you."

She follows Tala to the booth, letting everyone get settled in before she sits.

Starting after Samara and Tala, Wapoke looks to see were
the staff is at. The Hostiss is starring at him, her foot tapping on the floor.
"Come on son you need to hurry up your letting all the cold air in. I swear some people act like they were born in a barn."
Wapoke takes a step in and let's the door shut behind him. He feals the wolf in him fighting to get out and can feel the change begining against his will. He steps toward the both.
With the eyes of the hostiss still watching him he forces himself to stand up and not shift (OOC: Wilpower spent) and quickly moves to the window looking out. He sits, everyone can tell he is not okay with this, something is wrong as he sits their sweating, fighting against something.
The hostiss walks up to Tala. "Hes not going to puke on my table is he?"

Sebastian follows in silence, not saying a word, his eyes scanning everyone and everything. He knew he had to be an example for the pack and expecially for the cub, as the only other Lupus if he waived, there would be no reason for others to hold the tradition. His ragged jeans and leather jacket told the story of a man who obviously didnt care what others thought of him. His over sized shoulders hunched over the rest of his body, giving testament to his monstrous form. Even in Lupus it was obvious that physically something was not right with him, in his homid form it was quite apparent. He watched as the crowd eyed him as he entered, his bare chest showing off the bite mark that engulfed his neck and chest, which was thrust out proudly. As far as he was concerned there was only one person in the entire place that could take him in a fight, and any that tried to make him feel less about his homid form would find out just how true it was.

As he walks through the crowd he sniffs a nearby female. Eying her curiously as she looks at him in confusion and disgust. Sebastian could only curl his lip before rejoining them, sliding into the booth.

"The females smell unclean....the scents of many mates, like they are passed around an entire pack. The men they stand like they want to challenge for dominance, but none of them do anything....I will never understand them..."

"No," Tala replies to the waitress. "Could you just bring him a glass of water, no ice please? I'll take whatever passes for wine around here and I'm sure they can all order drinks for themselves." She motions to the others.

As Sebastian makes mention about the humans in the bar she can only smile, remembering another Get Lupus Arhoun who once told her something very similar... though his reaction was much less restrained.

Samara looks up at the hostess.

"I'll take an ice tea."

She sits when everyone else has had a seat. She then leans over to Sebastian and whispers to him.

"Human women hardly keep one mate. They move around from man to man for satisfaction, hardly to actually breed."

She throws a quick smile to the rest of the pack.

Shadow seems subdued today, quieter then usual even. When the waitress comes around he looks up.

"Beer," he says. "Bring the pitcher."
