Refocusing (attn:Any Gangrel) Loc: Station 5/17/2010

A.J. walked into the Station dressed in sweat pants and a black tank top undershirt, carrying his usual training gear. His expression is one of someone who seems to be conflicted. He walks to the area where the weights are setup and takes a seat on a bench and pulls out some wrist wraps and begins wrapping his wrists tightly. He seems to be trying hard to concentrate on what he is doing.

Once he is all wrapped up, he sets the weights up on the bar and lays down. He grips the bar and lifts off the heavy load of weights. Slowly he begins pushing them up and lowering them down, only to push them back up again. He controls his breathing as if he were still mortal. It's clear he is struggling to concentrate on what he is doing, but manages to continue to work through it.

In his mind, a replay of events that occurred nine evenings ago. All of the death and destruction that he wreaked across the streets of Lamar. At first he had managed to stay composed and not kill, but as the night wore on he became less and less focused on keeping the attackers alive. Then later that evening, what he had to do to his long lost love. He shuddered slightly at the thought of decapitating her with his claws. At that moment the bar slipped and dropped into his chest and went sideways. He yells out in frustration, "Damn it!"

Lenore, walking on her usual route, hears a shout from inside the station and runs to investigate. When she enters, she sees AJ. "What's wrong?"

A.J. toss the bar aside in frustration, forcing it to crash down on the rubber mat. He sits up a look of anger on his face, but when he hears Lenore and sees her, it softens into one of shame and says, "I am sorry you had to see that display Lenore. I am not doing well lately."

from his office kendov entered the main area looking to see the source of the noise. seeing both aj and lenore he nodded to both of them

" evening." he greeted them as he sat down in one of the nearby couches watching quietly

Lenore slowly walks further into the station, stopping a few feet from AJ. "Don't worry about it, cher...what's the matter?"

A.J. is obviously troubled by his own outburst as he nods to Kendov. He then stands and starts picking up the weight plates and stacking them back on tree. He says to Lenore, "I am finding it hard to focus as well as control my temper lately. It has been going on since the Saturday before last." He shakes his head in frustration.

"Anything I can help with?" Lenore looks concerned; she's only ever been familiar with AJ's patience and kindness.

A.J. takes a seat on the bench when he's finished putting the weights back in their place. He glances briefly at Kendov and then looks at Lenore and says, "I am not really sure what can be done to help me. I do not quite know how to deal with losing the love of my life over again. The worst part was I had to kill her myself this time."

If AJ will allow it, Lenore steps closer and puts a hand on his shoulder. "My condolences...if you need to talk, I'm here."

The Colonel enters the Station, wearing a pair of well-worn jeans, scuffed up boots, and a Star Trek t-shirt. He's holding his black suede cowboy hat in his hand. A long blade is slung to his left side. He looks at all the work that's been done to the Station over the last few weeks, then watches as Lenore attempts to console AJ.
