Thread: The Hills Are Alive (ATTN Corin and any who know where her house is)

There are boxes packed around the house, it looks like everything that was decorating the house has been packed away. The music that normally plays through the house is not playing this time. Lenore will see Jeanette packing up boxes. She smiles when she see's Lenore.

"How are you Lenore?"

Corin can be heard from downstairs.

"Victor, you don't have to do all the packing."
"It's the least I can do Corin, after everything you did for me."

A man can now be seen walking up the stairs from the basement carrying a large suitcase and a tote bag. He stops when he see's Lenore, then looks at Corin.

"Do you know this one?"

When Corin see's Lenore she runs up to her and wraps her arms around her.

"Lenore it's been too long! Oh I've missed you!"

She then whispers in Lenore's ear.

"He doesn't know about us...so please be careful about what you say."

From Lenore's seat she can hear keys being tapped on the piano in the next room through the open door. If she walks in she'll see Domino sitting at the piano looking like he's figuring out some kind of puzzle using the keys.

Lenore laughs and hugs Corin like a sister, whispering quickly in her ear. "No worries, cher." She steps back and smiles at Jeanette as she looks the unfamiliar man up and down. "Corin. Cher. Wherever did you find him?" She grins and extends a hand for a shake. "I'm Lenore Greyfell, a friend of Corin's." She looks over at Corin. "Cher...I've actually got something to sort of show you. I've been practicing for a while." Her eyes flick down and to the side, as if she's a little bit bashful.

The man takes Lenore's hand and kisses the back of it. "Victor." He smiles and winks at Lenore.

Corin shakes her head at Lenore. "Victor and my meeting is an interesting story. One that will have to wait." She turns her head and listens. "Sounds like Domino is in the recording studio, we should go see what he's up to." She takes Lenore's hand. "Come show me in here. I'm sure Domino will be happy to see you." Once they walk into the room Corin shuts the doors and smiles at Lenore, then watches Domino.

Lenore follows Corin, smiling warmly when she sees Domino. "Hey, cher. How've you been keeping?" She stands so that she is facing both of them. "I've..." She chuckles. "Strange, that I should be nervous about it...I've been practicing...singing." She looks down, smiling. "I was wondering...if you would like to hear me?"

Domino hears the doors shut and turns to look at who it it.

"Oh, hi Corin. Hey Lenore. Corin, I heard a song on your radio and I think I figured out how to play it. Please come listen."

Domino turns back to the piano and starts to play. ( performance 3 , song )

Corin walks over and listens to Domino play the piano.

"Domino, that's wonderful! You're learning quickly."

She turns back to Lenore.

"Alright, your turn. Shall Domino play for you as you sing?"

Lenore listens, smiling. "Cher, you have a helluva ear." She thinks for a moment, then shakes her head. "I think I'll be all right a cappella." She closes her eyes and takes a breath, slowly, preparing mentally. She sings, ((peformance 3)) and then opens her eyes, waiting for feedback.
