Cleared Mind (ATTN: any who know where Corin's is)

((OOC: this happens the night after the online challenge game))

Domino begins to stir as the sun sets. Groaning he rolls onto his back. It takes him a moment to notice he's downstairs at the mansion. Surrounding him is empty blood bags and bottles. He takes in the sight then grabs his stomach in pain. "I must have ate so much I ripped something inside." Domino spends a moment to push some of the overloaded blood to heal. As he feels his body healing his mind starts to go back to the night before. Uneasily he brings himself to his feet and says to himself "So help me that insane malk will pay for this shit."

Corin arrives home, running around frantic. She looks all over the main floor, then runs downstairs to see if she can find Domino. She runs to his room and looks through the open door, when she see's him she lets out a sigh of relief. She doesn't say anything, just watches, not sure if he is in the right frame of mind.

Domino steadies himself. With a growl he stretches his whole body, making sure nothing else is wrong with him. As he turns around he sees Corin. With a look of relief he says sounding more human than ever "thank Isis you're ok." He looks around at the mess and says "Your blood supply, though....."

She stands in the door frame, just staring at him, it's obvious that she has a lot racing through her mind. After a minute or so she looks around the room, then looks back at him.

"Don't worry about the blood supply...I've already taken steps to buy the blood bank..."

She starts to step forward, but decides it's best not to.

"How are you?"

Domino kinda chuckles at the question before answering with a slight grin "Full. Is everybody else ok? What happened after my 'mishap'?"

"I'm still sketchy on the details...and what I did see was..."

She closes her eyes and shakes her head.

"What was going on in there, it was Malcolm. Maddalena and Cahill were not really Maddalena and Cahill..."

She opens her eyes and looks at him again.

"Domino, last night, I heard H...I don't know how. It was right before you looked at me and ran off."

Domino turns and starts cleaning up the mess. He doesn't look at Corin as he talks.

"You heard that, did you? Yeah, I had to use a brief moment of clarity from what Lydia did to me to plant a thought in my own head. I'm guessing you are wondering what it meant, huh?"

When he says the name 'Lydia' its with malice and viciousness.

"What happened? One moment you were fine, then you touched Lydia, and then...confusion."

She looks at the floor, then back up at him.

"All the thoughts and emotions, I couldn't keep them strait. All I know is that right before you ran off I heard H saying 'shhhhh, she loves you'. Then you looked at me and ran off."

She looks him in the eyes.

"The way you looked at me...you've never looked at me like that before."

As Corin talks Domino keeps picking up his mess and throwing the empty bags in the nearby waste basket. When she says 'H' he stops. When she finishes he turns to look over his shoulder at her.

"I can only assume the malkavian, in her stupidity, did something to me. My mind was almost ripped apart. "

Realizing he had to explain himself he sits down, an empty bottle still in his hand.

"I imagined my sire's voice saying a thought I already had. I was correct in my assumption that when I lost myself again it would be enough to get me to run away. You have to know something. When I said 'she loves you' in my mind I didn't mean like a lover......"

Domino looks like he begins to drift off in his memories.
