Thread: A Promised Talk ((ATTN: Sophia))

Sending a text back she smiles

<T> Of course, my address is _________. I'll be ready. <T>

Running to her room she picks out some of her nicer clothes and puts them on. She looks into a mirror one final time while smiling to herself, thinking of the last time they were together. She moves to the sitting room and waits.

Domino pulls up to the address she sent him and parks. He's wearing his all-silk black pants and dress shirt with the gold emblem on the shirt pocket. Domino had deciced to not use his mask of 1000 faces. He wanted her to see him the way he truly is. He walks up and rings the doorbell.

Standing up she walks towards the door, trying to not show her excitement, and opens it.

"Domino, please come in."

She steps back and waits for him to enter.

Domino smiles at Sophia when she answers the door.

"I was thinking maybe we could go for a drive, but this works too."

Domino holds up his hand and gives her a 'wait a second' look. He runs back to the SUV and digs into a picnic basket. He comes back with a bottle and two glasses. As he walks in he says "I don't 'drink', myself, but I thought maybe if you do......" He holds up the bottle. "Greek wine, best wine ever made. I have been fortunate enough to see the evolution of the process."

Domino, usually the cool customer, seems to have lost a bit of his relaxed demeaner. It shows that he's a bit nervous.

Smiling at him she nods, closes the door then moves over to turn the cd player. The music plays softly in the background as she throws her arms around Domino.

"I've missed you."

As Sophia turns on the music Domino sits down the bottle and glasses on a nearby table. Domino relaxes a bit when Sophia speaks to him. He leans down and kisses her softly then tells her "I feel its time I explain a few things. Would you like to sit down?"

Lowering her head she looks at the ground.

"It's someone else isn't it?"

Domino's nervousness is almost completely qwelled when Sophia says her words. Even his beast let out a chuckle in his mind. He smiles and grabs Sophia around the waist, looking into her eyes.

"That's not it. Notthing like that. In fact you're the only one.....ever."

Domino takes a moment to guage her reaction before continuing.

"Before I continue, is it safe to speak openly here? And before you get worried or anything, there's nothing wrong. For the first time in my world things look right."
