Thread: Bloody and Battered, but Unbowed. (Attn Venice group)

Jack stands quietly, bones shattered in places but superficially fine. His jacket is ragged in a couple of places, still soaked from the rain. He looks to Logan.

"Helluva night, eh?" He smiles weakly, eyes still starry and tired.

Marzanna moves slowly over to them. Her clothes ripped to hell, her hair plastered around her face from the rain. She's bruised and cut up, a partially healed slash across her stomach. She smiles a bit at them both, but otherwise remains silent, looking around at the others near.

Kalie had originally pulled her hair back into a pony tail to keep it out of her face during the fight. However, now the pony taill was partially pulled down and strands of her hair that had been pulled completely free were wetly clinging around her face. Her jacket and jeans now bore cuts and rips that had not been on the clothing before (http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41915TdBWhL.jpg), but the skin underneath looked prestine and untouched.

She had managed to pull her sword bag out of the rabble and now took a moment to place the ash covered blade back inside of it. Looking up at the group from her squatting position she will make meaningful eye-contact with each that had played a hand in Alonso's destruction.

"Each of your actions on this field of battle will not be forgotten, nor will I forget what you have sacirficed for me. You have, but to call upon my sword and I will be there."

Marzanna looks to Kalie as she speaks, a small smile on her face, she nods at her words. "I always say, I'll do anything for family. I was honored to be able to fight by my families side tonight."

Logan smirks to Marzanna, even as the burns on his face begin to smooth slightly. His left eye socket still empty, he hefts his sword (an identical match to the one Kalie just put away) on to his shoulder and goes looking for the bag he'd discarded earlier.

His clothes a little dirty with some burn marks on them as he takes his robes off. "These nights are going to become more and more dangerous. it is in these evenings that allies, friends and family will be needed. Be true to them and they will be true to you. I have been honored to fight at all of your sides and I hope that this time has brought us together as friends. Again I am sorry for the lost of your Sire, Kalie. I trust that you have put that sorrow to rest now with the death of the Lasombra."

Pius turns to Logan, "Heal that while you can, Logan. Do not suffer the same fate as I did." as he points to his right eye.

Jack sways unsteadily in the breeze.

"I'm gonna have to eat soon." He looks to Kalie. "That fruit- I don't know what it was, but it didn't quite do the trick; not that I'm an ingrate..." he winces slightly at the ribs poking through his shirt.

"But if I wanna be pretty again I'm gonna have to take care of this." he gives a smirk and glances around, still trying to get his bearings.

Logan smirks at Pius.

"I fixed it once, I can fix it again..." He says as he winks with his good eye.

Logan looks to Jack and Kalie and nods to jack.

"A few years of Beauty sleep would do wonders for you too..." He says with a wry grin.

Marzanna stands, listening to everyone speak, smiling softly. "It was an honor to fight beside you tonight Pius. And I have enjoyed getting to know you while we were here, I hope to continue once we are home." She chuckles at Jack and Logan's banter, shaking her head. "We all look like hell, in need of rest and a good meal." She looks down at her stomach again, before returning her gaze to the group.
