Thread: JTM's Prison Rules (11/2/09 Attn: Kalie and JTM's friends that he would text. Check your PM's)

JTM and Kalie skirt themselves away in Kalie’s transport very rapidly, after leaving the Museum heading for secluded parts unknown to him. He watches the vestige of the area change around him flashing by street by street. Their destination unknown and very unfamiliar to him completely.

Kalie stops the car in the back of an abandoned house, a little better looking than JTM’s place this time. Kalie and JTM get out of the vehicle and pull some things from the trunk and back seat. They, actually being just JTM, tote 2 cots, several battery operated lanterns, a couple decent sized crates, and one red Coleman cooler with beer and ice in it. Kalie walks in the building with 3 things, pen, paper, and the lovely yellow bound book.

After lugging all the gear downstairs into the basement, JTM looks around happy that he’s not stuck in storm cellar this time. He quickly turns on a lantern and places it to where he can see and making damn sure that it doesn’t glow out the windows to arouse the neighbors as Kalie told him earlier NOT too. JTM sets the cots up. He scoots the crates just far enough for him to use it as a nightstand for his beers. And that the cooler is close enough for him to get into it.

Kalie seems pleased with him so far, with his “good” behavior in the Museum watching him with scrutiny all the while. JTM had some choice words with Kalie earlier before entering the Museum in the first place so the tension level is actually way lower…this time.

“See. I told you we needed to face the music. I told you I don’t fucking run away either. I’m not a coward. I behaved too. I gave you my word and I meant it. So ummm…now what? Is this it? My new home sweet hell?”

JTM looks around noticing there isn’t anything remotely accessible here for “creature comforts”. She nods and his disappointment shows with the NEW surroundings.

“K. Oh riiight. Deal’s a deal….like I have any say in the matter.”

He thinks about chuckling but refrains from it…for now. Kalie then pulls out the dreaded yellow bound book He is not happy at the sight of the book that he can’t read.

“I already copied that, you want me to do it again? C’mon. You gotta be kidding me?”

She hands him the yellow bound book, which he takes reluctantly, and then the following pen and paper that comes next.

“Fine. Won’t take me long to do that Just like last time.”

She looks at him like a teacher a lil upset with her student, doing her best to mold the rough clay vamp into something more productive in this new society.

Kalie: “JT, what have we been discussing lately?”

JT: “Umm..stuff about short cuts. Not taking the easy way. Some shit like that. That sometimes it’s worth taking your time to get something done, and done right. That’s right, right?”

Kalie nods at him. JTM’s lil light bulb somewhat kicks on.

“So what you’re saying is if I do this slow, it’ll be well worth it in the end, instead of just rushing for the easy way to get it done, and done poorly?”

Kalie has that “invisible clap” in her head still not showing much emotion towards him.

“K. Gotcha. I’ll do it the normal way then. You mind if I get a beer then too? I might get cramped and need to take five you know.”

He looks at her hoping he didn’t just dig his grave. .

Kalie: “Yes you can, but before you copy that book, there are some rules for you to follow…no questions asked, got it.’

He nods, waiting for her to start talking, but realizes he might want to jot this shit down just in case. Barbie wasn’t available to help him this time.

Kalie: “You are to stay here in the basement, not doing anything to draw attention to yourself. We will go where and whenever I deem it necessary, can’t have you running off on your own…understood.”

He nods writing JTM RULES 1) Don't go upstairs or outside dumbass.

Kalie: “Ok…this item will only be used by you in my presence and my presence only.”

She pulls out his turned off cell phone pointing to it watching him look happy he has something to keep him preoccupied.

“You need to text people and I mean texts only, to people that would normally stop by your place, and tell them to stay away from there since it’s in anarch territory. Can you do that? If they call back, let it go to voicemail. We’ll listen to them together. Just texts only JT. I mean it.”

He nods writing 2) Texts only, nothing else, stupid.

She turns on the cell phone and hands it to him. He has a voicemail from none other than Kharma. He puts the phone on speaker so they can listen to it together.

"Hey JT Mogul, it's Kharma. I was wondering if you wanted to raise hell like the last time. Give me a call.

“See, I told you that she’s been doing this to me. Stupid bitch. What am I gonna do about that?”

He clenches his fists tight, then releases them remembering Kalie wouldn’t approve of this behavior either, and the fact he doesn’t want to damage the phone.

“All right. All right. I’ll take care of this too, just need to think about what to text em k. but what if the higher ups call me?”

Kalie looks at him stating that she’ll handle that. He nods back at her too.

“Cool.”

He thinks about the texts and the best JTM proper wording, taking a lot of time to get it right and done with Kalie’s approval making sure he shows her them before sending them off. Anything to keep him from copying that damn yellow bound book.
