Amanda swallows hard at the approach of another 'gentleman'. She looks slowly up, still not directly at him, after continuing to stare at the floor for many more moment. "Private is something I do irregularly, Mr. Santos. And in such a strange city?" Amanda looks up at Romeo with a very angry face, clearly not directed at him personally. "May I at least know what this pertains to?"

Romeo chuckles to himself. As she stares down she can immediately notice his shadow moving, almost like it was staring up at her with a life of its own.

"The prince informs me that you have certain talents that I am interested in securing, of coarse you will be compensated. And as for this strange city, our prince trust me on her arm for her protection, I can assure you that safety is extended to her primogen."

"What do you find funny Mr.Santos? I don't find anything funny." Amanda stands and looks at Romeo in the eyes as best as she can, through the glasses.

"No offense to my Prince, but I do not know you. I don't wish to know you. If the Prince request me to teach you a certain talent, so be it, but I still refuse to see you outside the protection of 'my' walls." Amanda stands for a moment awaiting a reply to make her departure.

Romeo slowly slips his glasses off for a moment, His eyes receded into his skull unnaturally. "I find it funny...That apparently there has been a misunderstanding, and a such, I would never DARE impose on the Toreador primogon. And i would never DARE impose my presence on someone who did not wish or desire my company or to know me. I ever so humbly beg for your forgiveness in wishing for your assistance in the protection of our prince..."

Romeo slowly slipped the glasses back on, keeping them down far enough to look over them, still staring her right in the eyes.

"I will take my leave and bother you no more...."

And without another word he turns, starting to work his way back through the crowd.
