Thread: RP After "It Can't Rain All the Time"

After greeting Maddalena and making sure she was ok, Lydia turns towards Kendov but notices someone standing off to the side. Staring at him for a moment trying to think if she knew him or not she decides she doesn't.

Kalie's alert eyes takes in a newcomer among them. A quick assessment of the situation leads her to believe that something had happened outside that would give reason for the stranger not to be laying as a body or ash with the rest. Still... it was a bit convenient for a stranger to have happened upon this battle. Much work had been done to make sure that this was an isolated event and most in the group didn't know the details of the plan until just prior.


He is not your responsibility to deal with. Let the new toy play with him as long as he stays away from mine own.

JD counted two who had noticed him for certain and seemed curious but were not motivated to approach or say something. Instead of locking eyes, he decided to be a good Neonate and pretend interest in something else. He takes out his cigarette lighter and picks at a thread hanging from the 101st Airborne Division patch on the shoulder of his jacket, then ignites the lighter and burns the loose thread off.

Placing the lighter back in his pocket, he continues to look about and listen to nearby conversation, his sense of hearing tuned to a fine pitch.

After watching the new one for a few moments Lydia will start to look for her friends. Seeing everyone but one she gets worried and starts walking around looking.

Maxwell walks over to JD and smiles. "I'll be damned ... you showed up." He chuckles with a hand extended to the city's newest Brujah. "Fuck if you ain't a sight! Good to know you're willing to pull your weight when the call is put out, this city could use more Brujah like you."

Lowering his voice to be heard by JD alone he says, "You up for meeting the Prince... I'm pretty sure she's gotta be in a descent mood right about now and I'm sure she's gotta be wondering who the hell you are."

Benjamin stands close to Amanda, assuring her that his arm is fine, even though it's a dangling, broken, obviously-useless thing right now.

"Amanda, we must find your brother."

kendov wiped the 6 inch gore covered talons across the front of his coatas he turned to the group. seeing the prince safe and maxwell talking to the new arrival he relaxed his fingers letting the stonelike weapons slip back under his fingernails.

he kneeled laying his hands flat on the ground whispering a prayer to his gods before standing back up walking off away from the others to sit with his back resting on the quarter panel of one of the parked cars.

Amanda looks up at him with a despairing expression. "Immediately, Colonel." Amanda said in a weak, frail voice. "I last seen him in this direction." Amanda took a few steps forward and waited to see if Benjamin had another suggestion.
