[Horacio]As Corin walks into the old train station she hears a thumping sound on a support beam. As she investigates she sees Horacio has put up a makeshift target on the pillar and is practicing his aim between
doing a knife Kata.
• Corin approaches Horacio causiouly. Her clothes are torn, she has obviously taken a lot of damage, there are claw marks on her arms, across her back. Her knuckles are bloodied and broken. It is also obvious that she had been crying. "Horacio?"
[Horacio] As Horacio spins to throw the next blade at the target he stops in mid throw at the sight before him. Horacio runs to Corin. "What happened?! Who did this to you?" Corin can see his usual beast inside was being subdued by his worry for her.
• Corin looks at Horacio, wanting nothing more than to take him in her arms right now. She stands there and looks him in the eyes, the tears start to fall.
[Horacio]Horacio takes the blade in his hand and cuts his wrist. He then spins her around to where her back is pressed against his front and his arms are around her. "Drink. You need to heal." Horacio puts his wrist up to her lips. "You can explain later. You must feed now."
• Corin closes her eyes and drinks letting most of her wounds heal. "Thank you." She opens her eyes and looks into his.
Horacio looks deep into her eyes. "You must heal fully, my dear." Horacio slides the blade across his tongue, opening a wound. Corin smiles as she sticks her tongue out and seductively moans as he slides the blade across her tongue making a similar wound. Horacio then passionately takes Corin and kisses her, letting Corin get what blood she needs to heal what's left of her injuries.
She lets him take her in his embrace, kissing him she drinks the blood. When she has healed all the wounds she can at the time she pulls back a little, smiling. Her tears have stopped, and she holds him tightly.
Horacio wipes away the remaining tear on her sheek and lick it off his nail before closing the wound on his tongue. "Now tell me what has happened. You have left me here while you and Kendov run off and now you return......like that. Corin, promise me you won't keep leaving me in the dark like this."
Hearing voices at the front of the station, Mackenzie takes off her yellow rubber gloves and throws them next to the cleaning supplies. Taking a moment to tuck her hair behind her ears, Mackenzie heads towards the voices.
She sees Corin and Horacio embracing and starts to turn back around. She catches the smell of blood and stops. "Is everything okay?"
"Yes, everything is fine, now. Come and sit, I was just about to tell Horacio about the battle, and victory of our city."
She looks Horacio in the eyes.
"I will not leave you in the dark ever again. Please understand as I tell you this story that it was not my choice to not tell you what was going on. I wanted to tell you, but I couldn't."
Horacio's interest becomes piqued as he hears "fight" and "victory". He turns real fast and throws the daggar with pinpoint precission at the human shaped target's head. As the blade hits he turns to the ladies. "Shall we sit? It's story time." Horacio looks at Corin with a feeling that maybe they are finally back in sync after recent events.
Corin sits on the bench, she starts her story telling them about a phone call that was made to a sabbat contact as an ambush. She then tells them about how the Sabbat came and how the members of the Camarilla were ready and that when the Sabbat realized it was a trap it was too late. She tells how several of the Camarilla fought with everything they had, and that the Camarilla were victorious. She tells them of how Kendov, and Benjamin fought with great honor as Gangrel should. She goes into as many details as she can (Corin has eidedic memory) but does not tell about what happened between her and Ash, feeling that it is better that she not bring that up.
"Unfortuntaly some got away, but in the end, the battle was won, and it would not have been so without the help of everyone that was there, and Romeo who willingly let himself be the bait for the Sabbat."
She will look at the two of them, her eyes sparkling.
Mackenzie listens closely to the details of the fight as if committing them to memory. "So you are okay? And Kendov?" Her tone is neutral, but there seems to be more to her expression.
