Thread: Payment Due (Attn: Ash 8/31)

Ash looks at the phone and then answers, "Logan, good to hear from you. Its been a while. Whats up?"

"You left a message about needing to talk about my Debt? Would tonight be alright?" Logan asks into the phone. In the background, traffic whizzes by in the distance.

"If you have the time sure. Where are you?"

'On my bike, down town, I have a place we can have some privacy at, but i'll have to take you there."


"Can I pick you up in 5?"

*assuming that's okay*

Logan picks Ash up and takes him to a trashed store front in the Pit. Logan leads ash in through a busted door in the back. Light streams in through a busted window in the front.

"You need a light?"

Ash follows Logan into the store front with his sight hieghtened so as not to need much light.

"I am fine. How secure is this place though?"

Logan shrugs and puts his hand out. "Secure enough. The bums don't even come in here. May I have your celphone, please, sir?"

*Assuming he gives it up, Logan takes it, sets it on vibrate, and sets it on a dilapidated shelf and then moves to a stack of full and partial cinder blocks.*

"Hold out your arms and hold these." Logan says just before stacking Ash's arms full of cinder blocks and rebar. He stops just before Ash is certain he can't hold anymore.

"Aight, lets let you stand there for a while..."

Ash settles the weight of the blocks and rebar on his arms the strain of holding them showing on his face. He looks to Logan and waits for him to say something more.

Logan sits on a pile of what looks like discarded shelving and watches Ash dispassionately. Minutes stretch past by the dozens. Well after an hour (possibly two) has passed, Logan stands and moves back to Ash.

"Here's the thing. Brujah learn to harness the raging anger of our Beasts. We have to focus it in this way, or it gets out of controll, fast."

"I've seen it happen, actually."

Logan continues talking as he takes the stack of crap off Ash's arms.

"But you don't have that rage built up in your heart. So... we have to teach you how to push the blood some other way."

"Okay, now that you know kinda where your limits are, time to push them."

He lifts up an open hand about a foot from Ash.

"Press against it."

Ash places one hand against Logan's and pushes with an already impressive amount of strength. The corded muscles in his arm are shown in solid definition.
