Thread: Batters up (Attn Kendov, any 01-12 abandoned shop)

kendov watched from the opposite rooftop as logan arrive at the small burnt out shop. he was sure it wasnt a front but it honestly didnt matter to him. he hadnt even meant to be in this area of the city but a wandering mind often produced wandering feet.

he watched the exchange on the phone he wasnt sure what was said from the distance and then as the brujah slipped into the window.

"ameteurs" he said to himself as he descended the stairwell of the fire escape taking his time. his ears picked up the sound of metal hitting something but not sure what as he moved past the window that logan had busted. walking to the back door of the building logan was in he checked the doorknob to find it pleasingly open. slipping in he creeped tword the sounds checking around a door jam to find logan standing over the decimated remains of a mannequin.

it was rare to find this one so far from his clanmates .

" is that a jose conseco bat? tell me you didnt pay money for that" he asked wondering just how the young kindred would react

Logan turns very quickly as Kendov starts to speak, but not from surprise. He does seem surprised to see that it is Kendov that has snuck up behind him. He lowers the bar and nods, pointing to the mostly destroyed bat on the floor.

"Yeah... Nah, man. The skinhead gave it to me out in the Park the other night. They don't last so well."

He holds the steel bar he was using up. "This has got some weight to it, ya know?"

Logan relaxes a little bit, but remains apparently guarded in his stance.

" gangrel are hardly tree hugging peaceniks" kendov moved to one of the mannequins the head was partialy crushed in and the inside metal bar could be seen. he reached down picking it up bringing it closer for inspection " there are gangrel who live better than a ventrue prince. it is just as your clan, we are embraced for various reasons. he dropped the doll to the floor and straightened to look back at the man " practicing beating on things not alive wont do you any good or is this just a temper tantrum like ive heard about you boys "

Logan shrugs.

"figured it couldn't hurt. It's not like i'd ever swung at anybody with anything but my fist before."

"Well, except that guy I clocked with my old Cort Vee. But that V was a heavy sombitch."

"I've been getting pointers from Kalie. But I wanted to get used to wailing on something I don't give a fuck about, not holding back, you know?"

"And I think she holds back too..."

" so then let me ask you. in your training here what have you learned?" he pointed to a few of the mannequins. he leaned against an old counter as he watched " so you have power but what do you have. a hit like that wouldnt even slow a very powerfull kindred. "

Logan frowns, looking slightly irritated. "Dude, that would totally fuck up somebody's shit."

He steps over and swings the bar in his hand hard at an empty metal shelf next to them. The metal structure clangs loudly as it bends and folds at point the steel bar in Logan's hand (pushed with Potence) impacts the shelf.

"Look at that. That would totally wreck a bitch."
