Thread: a run through the woods ((Anyone))

Having had his head burried in his studies for too long, Boone decides that maybe a bit of fresh air is in order. He heads out to the State Park for a little break. Upon arrival, he notices a hoodie hanging on a tree. He calls out, "Hello? Is someone here?"

A.J. had been walking through the woods on patrol for a while now and hadn't seen anything of note. Nothing but animals for the night he figured when he heard feet pounding on the ground. He wasn't on the beaten path but as the footsteps grew closer, he stepped out infront of the unsuspecting jogger. He's dressed in a black shirt and jeans with hiking shoes on, covered by a heavy trenchcoat that seemed to bulge a little too much at the hips.

Tripp looked back at where the voice came from and keeps jogging in deeper to the forest. He slides to a stop when he can see the man in the trench coats, and uses his obfuscate to vanish. Tripp then turns around and starts heading towards where he left his hoodie at. When he gets there he sees Boone, Tripp walks behind a tree and un-obfuscates, then walks out.

"Didn't expect to see some one like you out here in the park, how are you tonight...Boone is it?"

"Yes, but I'm afraid you have me at a slight disadvantage. I didn't catch your name when last we met. As for being out in this neck of the woods...I needed to clear the cobwebs from the attic, so to speak. Thought a bit of fresh air might help out. I don't mean to intrude here, and will gladly leave post haste. Last thing I'd want is to offend the gangrel by tresspassing."

A.J. growled a little at the brash use of Obfuscate in public. With nothing he could do about it, he decided to investigate the voice that yelled and headed towards it. Once he could see the two men conversing, he decided to stay in the shadows behind the follage until he could determine if they were here to do harm to his clan's territory.

Mackenzie had not seen much of anything for the past several days in the Park while she had been patrolling, now all of a sudden she heard a slightly familiar voice and an unfamiliar voice in the grasses. Steathily, she moved forward towards the voices.

Hearing a faint growl, Mackenzie turns her head. She sees A.J. crouched low in the foliage. She smiles and nods to him, and walks out into the open area where the two men stand.

"May I help you two?" Mackenzie smiles, but the smile does not reach her eyes. "Nice night for a walk." She is wearing a grey sweatshirt, blue jeans, and dirty white tennis shoes.

Recognizing Boone, Mackenzie nods and focuses on the other man.

"Good evening, Ms Mackenzie. I was just out for a bit of fresh air to clear my head and gather my thoughts, when I happened upon this gentleman here (indicating Tripp). As I was indicating to your clansmen (Tripp again), I do not wish to trespass where I am not welcome. With that said, if you, as the representative pro tem, would prefer that I were to leave, I will gladly do so."

Mackenzie crosses her arms casually across her chest and looks to Boone. "Good evening to you. Clearing your head here? Interesting." She walks down closer to the two. "No, you need not leave, but perhaps I could walk with you." She smiles and her voice turns low and quiet. "I would hate for you to get lost here. It's actually more common than you might think."

Mackenzie turns to the other man (Tripp) and narrows her blue eyes at him. "He said clansman. Please introduce yourself."

"Oh!" Boone looks a bit suprised. "He's not of your family? I stand corrected."
