Thread: Eagle Hunting #4 3/28/10 ( attn any and storytellers)

Mackenzie is walking her normal route through the Park and spots a somewhat familiar face at the edge of the Park. One of the new Brujah, I think his name was Eric.

Mackenzie gets closer through the grasses, moving silently, then steps out onto a path and smiles. "Can I help you? Eric, isn't it?" Despite the smile, there is no mirth in her eyes.

Eric looks at Mackenzie with no expression visible. "Yes," Eric says, "I'm out looking for traces of the eagle sighting that was seen recently. I was hoping to try to be able to get some information from the one person I'm confident has been around town everywhere. Do you think it is possible for me to speak to Kendov, the Scourge?" Eric pauses, waiting for a response.

Mackenzie raises an eyebrow at the mention of the eagle, but does not say anything. She reaches into her pocket and pulls out her phone, sending a quick text. She smiles again and crosses her arms. "I think it may be possible. If he's not too busy. I'm sure you understand that."

Mackenzie looks relaxed in her stance, but there is an edge of caution as she watches Eric.

"I do understand that. Would you want me to wait outside of this area? Or is there some place you would rather me wait at? I understand his duties are great and he may not have time." Eric seems patient and waiting.

Mackenzie looks down at her phone then up at Eric. "He's on his way." She seems pleased at his question of whether he was okay to stay here or if there is somewhere else to go. "You are fine. We are on good terms with each other. You understand my caution though. These are troubling times."

Eric nods his head as Mackenzie speaks. Just before she states 'these are troubling times' he appears ready to say something. He appears to change what he is about to say and says, "I do understand your caution. I have been around for a while and it's not just the times that make caution necessary."

a black raven bigger than most swoops in landing on mackenzies shoulder it caws at her and then flaps its wings at eric cawwing again before hopping down to the ground with a fluttering glide. it hops around looking either way before slowly bones and sinew slip and pop and kendov stands straight backed at them. his wolven yellow eyes looking them both over.

Mackenzie appears to notice the raven before it lands on her shoulder. She appears completely at ease with it as it lands on her shoulder and then on the ground. A big smile spreads across her face when it shifts into Kendov. She nods to him, "Good evening." She turns and looks at Eric, waiting for him to speak.

Eric looks at both Mackenzie and Kendov. "If you have a moment of time, sir, I have a couple questions regarding the eagle. Mr. Winters has asked me to investigate the issue and see what I could find out. I was wondering if you had any idea or any information that I could use or have."
