Thread: Seeking the Stars (Att: Ash only)

Ash answers the phone, "Of course. The park?"

Mackenzie gives him directions to the location she is at. It's a spot not too difficult to find with the right directions (left at the tree with the broken limb, right towards the flowers that are pink and blue, and then go over the hill and you will see the huge tree).

Mackenzie glances up at the massive tree, its height standing out among the others in the park, the smallest limbs the size of a forearm. She climbs up in it so that she will see him as he comes. "Call me if you need help finding it."

Ash, as a white wolf, slips into the park silently padding on four paws. Keeping to the shadows in the trees he follows the directions to the area that Mackenzie told him about. He sniffs the air as he gets closer and crouches low to the ground sneaking up on the tree that Mackenzie is hiding in. Once under the tree he looks up into the branches and howls, low and quiet so that it doesn't carry, a greeting.

Mackenzie glances down at the white wolf, her eyes quizzical. "Hello." She slides down out of the tree and lands gracefully on her feet. "Did you come to enjoy the stars?"

The white wolf moves away to where no one could see him and changes back to Ash. He is wearing the same outfit as the gathering. Faded jeans and a tshirt and again no shoes. He comes back out where Mackenzie can see him.

"I came the fastest way here and it was exhillerating to just run. I feel a little more akin to that form these nights. So this is the best place to see the stars in the city huh?"

When Ash returns, he will notice that Mackenzie looks a bit less humane then before. (move from 3 to 2) She also has a few nearly faded burn marks showing from the collar of her black t-shirt.

She smiles slightly at him and nods. "It's very nice to be able to run...as far as the scenery goes...I think so. I think this is the best place for stargazing." She takes a few steps away from the giant tree and then sits in the soft grass. She leans back on her hands and looks to Ash. "How are you tonight?"

Ash looks up then walks over and sits in the grass next to Mackenzie and then lays back his hands behind his head.

"I don't really know still. I feel...adrift. Since that night at the warehouse I am just unsure about myself. About these new feelings...or lack there of."

Mackenzie nods at him and sighs slightly. "I know what you mean...." She looks down at herself and then into his eyes. "It's so easy to lose the things that you fight so hard to hold on to." She shrugs. "Sometimes it's easier not to fight it, but I'm no quitter." Mackenzie cocks her head. "You said you feel unsure of yourself? What did you mean by that?"

Ash looks up to the stars, "I am unsure of my place here. I came for my sister, to protect her and help her with those that were against her here. I did that and now she has a much bigger protector and doesn't need me anymore. I feel that all my companions are slowly leaving me behind. And then the other night happened. It has left me unsure of where to go from here."
