Thread: Anarch Investigation, ATN: Maxwell, any Anarchs

The man behind the bar leans in to hear Benjamin over the noise of the crowd, nods at his words and motions towards the far back, dark corner. Turning you can see Maxwell sitting in a booth alone, apparently reading a book.

Benjamin walks over to the booth where Maxwell is sitting. "Do you mind if I join you?"

Maxwell closes the book and looks up at Benjamin.

"Feel free," he says.

Benjamin takes a seat across from Maxwell. In a low voice, "Maxwell, I need to speak with the Anarchs."

Maxwell arches an eyebrow.

"That can be arranged, if it is non-violent inquiries."

"It is my hope it will be non-violent. Lazarus wishes to speak to them."

His eyes widen only slightly, one hand fiddling with the book laying on the table.

"I'm afraid, Sheriff, that I don't know how to contact them. Last I heard after his last shake down of them, they decided to lay even lower."

Benjamin looks slightly insulted. "Well, that was the fastest about-face I believe I've ever witnessed. Too bad. I really wish they would have listened to me when I offered to escort them out of the city. I'm really not as fucking stupid as people seem to think."

Maxwell nods.

"I don't think you're stupid Walker. I think you're playing a game that I don't understand. I don't respect what Arch is doing, I don't trust Cock-fuck, and I don't want any part of the shit storm that I see brewing.

We have issues that can't be fixed with our fists and I don't see an easy fucking answer, which you probably don't either, but here we fucking are, in the middle of the shit and I think we're going down."
