Logan sits at a barstool in Purgatory, listening to the band of the night, chatting with Kalie, thinking about feeding from any of the sultry, tender morsels that swing their hips as they saunter by.

He picks up his shot glass and salutes Kalie.

"To us... whatever the fuck we are..."

Kalie salutes him in kind with her beer bottle. "May this coming year be better then the last." Kalie mirths with a slight non-humorous smirk.
