Thread: Howls of pain and a new face appears

Wandering alone about a mile or two off, Lea stops in her tracks. She listens to the howl, which is faint from where she stands. She is uncertain, but the call sounds distressed. She glances about quickly, and then goes to all fours, shifting and taking off in a full run.

A short-haired wolf, similar in appearance to a red wolf, slows to a trot as she nears. She smells the blood, and follows her nose the rest of the way to Celine. Cautiously, she steps closer to the white female, gently whining. Ready to jump in case she is snapped at, she pushes her muzzle closer to the stranger to see if Celine is conscious.

Celine senses someone present and wakes. She flashes her eyes open to find, what looks like a red wolf standing near her. She whimpers softly, still in a bit of pain; and atempts to stand up. Once standing she looks at the wolf, wondering if she is trust worthy. She then limbs over to the other wolf...

Lea allows the stranger to get close, as long as there's no threatening gestures. She sniffs at Celine's wound, and then howls for assistance.

She then speaks in the Garou tongue to the stranger, staring intently, and asking many anxious questions: "You are hurt? Is the danger near? Can you walk?"

Celine replies, "I am wounded and still in a little pain, but I think my wound has started to heal. The danger is gone and I think I can walk, the rest helped." Celine then introduces herself, "thank you for your help, my name is Celine."

Lea manages a doggish smile. Then she slowly shifts back to homid, which is much more comfortable for her to speak as (a young woman in jeans/shirt, with a coyote pelt and a rifle slung over her shoulder).

Her accent is definitely southern. "I'm Lea Coyote-Chaser, an Uktena cliath of No-Moon." She looks around - where is everyone? "I'm pretty new here too, but everyone's been nice so far. But I wouldn't push it - if you're not gonna stay, you should probably start runnin'. But if you're plannin' on stickin' around, I can show you the way."

Celine shifts back to her homid form, despite the pain. She has long, medium- brown hair and hazel eyes, and is wearing jeans and a shirt. She looks at Lea and smiles, "I plan on staying and I'm not running anywhere."
