cassil listens to what aelofin says with a heavy heart but her serch will go on "he is still garou and and needs help and i will help him and you are wise and i will listen to you and danu looks with tear fill eyes .if that is what i must do looks at dog and gets up goes to the waters edge picks up a rock looks at it and replaces it on the ground and sits back at the tree and changes into crinos and howls a lone howl .

Aelofin smiles at Cassil " A lesson I learned when very young is all you have is now. You cannot be worring about yesterday it is done there is nothing you can do to change it. Tommorow will never get here because when we get to tommorow it is today. So simply put if you worry about the past you will trip on the present, and if you alway look to tommorow you will never have now." He continues to smile "To loose ouselves in what has happened is to invite Harano the great sorrow. Many die from it and mant others never leave it's cold depths. Please Cassil let the dead go and live for now, enjoy what you have and don't regret what you have lost. Find the beauty that we saved and understand that what we do is for the future. To the side there are several new flowers that have bloomed there." Aelofin's eyes grow distant as remembering. "As I prepared the defenses aruond the cave opening I found some flower bulbs. I knew they would just die if I tred to move them so I took them to our Altar to Danu.There I left them until the battle had ended. This morning I planted them there and they have bloomed to show us that what we did was right and good."

He looks at her and then turns to Dog. "You and I need to talk my young friend. We need to choose a more deserving name for you. I had a great friend once who fought with every ounce of his being to protect the young. He died doing such I would be honored if you would take his name and carry on the tradition. His name was Andrew and he was a protector." Aelofin waits for Dog or Cassil to respond.

cassil nods in agreement and thinks on what aelofin had said turns and smiles at (dog)andrewand still a little sad that she could`nt be closer to him in kin but glad she can help him some how some day then looks to aelofin ans smiles slightly

"ON-dew?" Dog looks at him.. "ANN-Doo",, he trys again. "An-drew" Dog smiles and then looks sad, "I Am Dog, can't have name!?"

looks down, after a long min, and in a quite voice "what Tempist say?"

" Tempist is the Alpa of this Caern and is due great respect. Yet this , I feel , she has very little time for. My young friend the 'name' your 'father' gave you is a bad thing and you can have a name. In our family if that name is used to talk to someone else they may hurt the person who said it. You deserve a true name not a name meant to hurt you. As I said I would be honored to call you Andrew. But the choice is up to you until you have a name that is not hurtful. You will always find people that will cause you troubles and not be nice to you." Aelofin says to the boy calmly.

" Oh, Another thing that I need to teach you is the difference between real fighting and play fighting. You are now old enough to shed your childhood and become a man. You still can keep an eye on the pups and kids but you will have to do other things as determined by Tempist." Aelofin adds still calmly.

Dog looks at the wolf and thinks on earning a name, he wants to speek but doesnt have the words.

Dog looks to the ground thinking and then hears the words that he doesnt know how to fight... First shock, the anger, and finly submition to this rolled over his face and body in moments as the words of his father rang in his head like a camanding bell. "yes me need to learn me not good fighter, Bad Dog..." Dog lowers his head for punishment.

" No you do not need to be punished just taught. You are a good fighter you have proven that to me and others already. You only problem is there is nothing else for you all you have is the fight. We Garou are fighters but there is more to life than fighting. If you don't live why do you fight, if you don't understand what you are fighting for you will fail. And for the love of GAIA please stop calling yourself a dog you are GAROU and not a dog. Together we can learn more about life and see if we can help each other out. " Aelofin's eyes include Cassil in the last sentence. " So young Man do you want to learn more and become more than you are ?" Aelofin waits for his response.

The boy waits. and waits, then Nods enthusiastically. He knows he is not a gres fighter, and he knows why he fights its because he is told to and its the only time he feels the Rage leave his body and that is comforting.

He doesn want a name till he earnd one, Tempist told him he would be a man and have a name when he has his right of passage. all this he explains as best he can.
