Thread: Bridging the Gap (attn: Charles,Ayven) 3/3/10

Charles comes walking from the bus towards the tech cabin carrying a small paper sack. He looks down at his alpha, nodding as he gets close to the fire. "Roscoe." He says as he turns towards the tech cabin.

Roscoe looks up and says, "Got a few minutes Charles?"

Charles stops, and turns around. "I guess, what's on your mind?"

Roscoe pauses a moment and first says, "Do you think Ayven will be around. I think we need to discuss some things as a pack."

ayven strolled out of the wooded area, the ever present cig. leaving a whispy white trail behind him, scratching at his head he wasnt really sure if he was really helping. pushing aside his thoughts he noticed roscoe and charles and headed that way picking up a few small rocks as he went juggling them lightly.

Roscoe hears the footsteps behind him and turns to see Ayven. He gives him a nod and waves him over. He says with a forced smile, "Must be my lucky evening. I get to catch up with both of you. I wanted to talk to you guys about our pack. I think we need to choose a totem and pursue it."

" now see that, thats a serious subject " he continued to juggle the small stones leaning down to pick another one up and add it to the four he already had. " we need to be sure on all of this. donovan can say what he wants but you dont just get thrown into a pack. its kinda disturbing if he thinks that will just instantly bond us."

he takes a big intake and blows the smoke out over the stones " you saw it when they tried to force it people went to where they wanted. what we need isa real reason were a pack. we need to know each other first "

Roscoe nods in agreement that they need to get to know each other. He wanted to know more about his pack. He had hoped there was more to them than their apathetic demeanor thus far. He looks at Ayven, "I do want to know both of you. If we're looking for a reason to be a pack, I think its pretty obvious we have one thing in common, no one else wanted us."

" that im used to. the gnawers always catch the heat and walkers arnt further up the list. by the like of the silverfang they dont want us but without our kind they wouldnt know what to do. "
