"Hi Nikki. Have you met Sasha?" He indicates the little girl. "Or Wapoke?" He indicates the smaller wolf. "I don't know anyone else's name, though."

Nikki shakes her head and looks at the people Shawn points out. "I haven't met many."

When she sees the wolf, she smiles. "Is that your friend you were hoping to find the other day?" She ensures she does not look directly at him, remembering Shawn's information that he is uncomfortable around humans.

"Oh, yeah. That's him."

Sasha looks around shyly.
"Shadow Wind is right. Those of us who were here before you put off doing this because we were not strong enough. We chose our battles and even gave up some ground to keep this part sacred. We did what we had to do, we paid the price. But now we have enough I think. And even if we don't Chimera is trying to awaken. We need to petition the spirits for help."
She turns to the philodox.
"There was a great battle and we don't know why that battle was judged the way it was. That is where you come in. Between what we theurges learn and what they galliards learn, you must determine a way for us to be judged the winners."

cassil watches all that has asembled not knowing what to make of the past few days but knowing all too well the fear they all had but how can they stop the wyrm and for how long this time .

Pitre waits for everyone assemble quietly, since he has only ever met three of them.

"I guess the first question I would ask is, how was this previous battle judged? Is that why the caern is currently inactive?"

Sasha looks up at Pitre, at least he was another Shadow Lord. She smiled.

"We're waiting for the Galliards to tell us, and yes." She shrugs. "When there are not enough guardians to continue paying tribute, a Caern spirit will fall to slumber."

Shadow looks at Shawn and arches a wrinkled eyebrow, he motions towards him with the stump of his left arm.

"Don't know anyone else?" he mutters softly and snorts.

"I'd guess it went about like Custer's Last Stand, except our folks were all a bunch of blonde haired's and busy primping."
