Shadow slowly walks into the clearing, moving even slower then normal, as if each step is a pain to take. His mate walks beside him, he reaches down and scratches between her ears, then yips to her as she turns and walks slowly away.

He approaches the group, muttering under his breath the entire time, then stands there drawing with his staff in the dirt.

Cautiously moving out of the woodline, Wapoke moves quickly toward the group. His eyes are attentive to what goes on around the area as he positions himself near Shadow, away from the others.

Shawn approaches the gathered. "Hi Sasha. Wapoke....Other people." He bows slightly to Shadow, "Good morning."

Charles staggers into the campsite appearently still waking up. He rubs the sleep from his eyes, and yawns. He takes note of all those in attendance. "So, what the plan?"

cassil joins them waits

Shadow nods to Shawn, watching the others approach as he continues to draw symbols in the dirt with his staff.

"Plan," he snorts. "Always we make plans. The one plan should be we seek out wisdom. We commune with the Spirits, we send our prayers to the Grandfathers, we gather what help we can, then we fight. We live, we die, we carry on."

"But no inhaling." Shawn winks.

Shadow laughs, quite possibly the first time most here have heard such a sound.

"Indeed, no inhaling . . ." he wipes at the tears running from his eyes as he continues to laugh.

Pitre walks up caustiously and stands beside Cassil. He looks down at the scribbles in the dirt made by shadow and then back up to see his laughter mixed with tears. He keeps quiet.
