Thread: Preparing for War (ATTN: Any 4/1/10)

ayven had spent a few days looking over the odd flask and even now couldnt figure out what the fluid inside was. he did however know that it tasted horrible thinking perhaps one of the theurges would know more he headed across camp keeping out of the main areas of work but still stopping by to see if anyone needed help.

Sasha is in the campsite, helping where she can, using her theurge abilities to help Melanie with the talens.

She looks up at Ayven "How are you?"

Roscoe pops out of his Cabin looking surprisingly strong and bouncy. Gone is the look of weakness that had bee customary since he was brought back to the Sept by the Dark Riders. Also gone was the weary look of sleepless nights. He looked well rested and well fed and strong like an Ahroun should.

Instead of walking down the steps he jumped off the side doing a front flip and landing on his feet, wearing a smile ear to ear. He was obviously happy and ready to face the world. He skipped his way over to Ayven and says, "Hey there! Such a great day isn't it?"

" good, dont think we've spoken alot im ayven. had somethin i thought might need a looking at." he held the flask out at her nodding at it lightly as if to say go ahead. he stepped away from the two to a respectable distance from the pregnant woman and lit a cigarette making sure to blow the smoke away from the two. " found it down at the trash heap in town. didnt seem right so i brought it back to have it checked. as far as i can tell it aint booze though"

seeing roscoe he nods " bout time for war. "

Sasha takes the flask and looks it over, turning it this way and that. She opens the lid and sniffs, her nose wrinkling at the foul smell. She caps the lid again.

"It's awakened. A fetish of some kind. I can't imagine how it got into a city dump though. It's nothing I've heard of though. Maybe someone with more knowledge could help?"

Roscoe nods, his smile unwavering even at the mention of the pending war. He looked at Sasha and smiled as she talked about what the item was. He then looked at Ayven and said, "That's a patch of good luck. Finding a fetish in the dump." He seems overly cheery for someone in his current situation.

" who would you suggest ? " he seems surprised at the flasks connection " theres alot of stuff down there some people only see crap when its someone else's stuff they junk it we loot it"

he drags deeply off the stick letting it out " hold this roscoe" he hands it to the ahroun while he retrieves the flask from melanie comingback and reaquiring it.

Roscoe takes the stick and loks at it. He stares at it a moment, contemplating taking a drag from it. He'd never even so much as tried one, but ultimately he decided not to take a drag. He nods to Ayven, "I'd have probably gone with you if I were allowed to."

Sasha frowns in thought for a moment. "Either a higher ranking theurge or maybe a galliard? Maybe the description will remind them of a story? Or I guess we could go ask a spirit..."

Sasha nods and smiles at Roscoe as Melanie determinedly continues her tasks.
