Thread: Answers (Attn: Dark Riders, Zole, Fin, Dog, ST)

Zole strolls back in to the camp, whistling the same tune he was whistling the day before. He smiles at little Connor playing then sees Samara sitting there with the paperwork before her. He walks over and plops down next to her.

"How's the day finding ya? Any better?"

Samara looks up at Zole and smiles at him.

"Well look who's in camp."

She looks down at the paperwork in front of her.

"The more I look into all of this the more questions I have."

She looks back up at him and sighs, then looks over at Connor.

"How do I tell a young boy that I can't remember any of my time with him? How do I tell him I don't remember his father? How do I tell him..."

Her voice trails off and she looks up at Zole.

"You don't."

Zole nudges Samara and gives her a friendly smile.

"You make sure through it all you love him and all that matters is now. Now he has his mother and all of us here."

As Zole speaks he looks over to Connor. As he watches the boy he is reminded of the days he was Connor's age playing out in the fields with his older brother. Back then he was able to deal with life cause he had Michael. Now he was watching what happens when there isn't a big brother to look out for you. Zole take s a moment to wipe the thoughts from his mind and looks over at the papers.

"So no luck on the paperwork, huh? No worries. Like I said before, it takes time. I'm sure you'll think of something. You said you wanted to talk to me about something?"

"I wanted to thank you for last night. You stuck up for me when you didn't have to, and for Connor. If he has the gene and changes I have a feeling that he will be ahroun. I have my pack to help me, but I wanted to ask if you would too."

She looks him in the eyes.

"I just want him to have some good rolemodels."

Zole quickly looks into the fire when Samara meantions rolemodels.

"Well we are all here to help you. Rolemodels? The whole camp is his rolemodel. We are all here to help guide each other to our destined greatness."

Feeling as if he may have hurt Samara's feelings with his response he looks back at Connor.

"But if ya honestly feel he may need to be taught in the ways of an ahroun, would not one of your tribe be better suited for him? I mean, i'm not exactly the best rolemodel for a young boy."

Shadow wanders through camp, looking distracted, muttering in Lakota as he walks stamping his stick as if angry, the grizzled grey female pacing beside him as he walks. Seeing Samara he stops and looks from her to Zole then over to the boy.

"Morning," he says simply.

As Samara speaks with her friends, Connor comes up with a bunch of hand picked flowers, "Here mommy, I picked these for you..."

He sets them down and continues to look around and explore the campsite.

Aelofin comes out of the Lodge and looks around the campsight. His words from the night before seem to weigh on him. As he sits on the front porch watching Connor play he thinks on how he can help and how he can make this right.

Infront of the pourch Dog walks up with a broken ax handle, he starts to draw a big circal in the ground then walks over to the porch and puts the stick down, walking back to the circal he stands.

Dog stands ready for a fight.
