Thread: Introduction

Nathen Stryd, out on recon, decides to go keep the new wolf company.
He dashes through the woods, as quiet and steathy as any other wolf, few people would guess he was in homid. He stalks around to behind the new arrivel, "welcome to the bawn", he says, waiting for the reaction to having someone appear out of nowhere.

Since Danny had been waiting and alert for someone to arrive, the presence of the other person didn't startle him in the slightest. "Hey, thanks for arriving. I'm kinda new around here, obviously. You a Warder?"

Nathen shrugs, "I might be, but I don't think so. Just a clueless cub" He closes his eyes, looking thoughtful, "Nathen Stryd, Uktena, ragabash, homid." He says after some thought. He's about 6' tall, and is dressed in a military forest camo uniform

A rather large, pure black wolf trots up, staying back a bit. He sits and stares at the newcomer.

"Hey, Nathan, glad to meet ya. I'm Danny." He doesn't seem to notice the wolf that is watching them.

A non-descript grey wolf from the warder pack comes to the edge of the bawn and introduces himself. He then checks to make sure you are garou, and that you are not tainted. If you need cleansing, he will perform the rite. After all this, he takes you to meet the alpha of the sept, an athro lupus ahroun Shadow Lord named Thunder's Tempest. The alpha will look at you and smell you until she feels she has sufficiently committed your identity to memory.

"This is my territory, I am Alpha. As long as you follow the Litany, you are welcome here."

Then the warder will walk you back to the Ranger Station, where you will be given a list of tasks to which you can contribute for the sept, with the expectation you will choose what fits your skills. You are then released to join your new septmates.

Ariadne approaches Danny at the Station. She is dressed in loose, olive-drab sweatpants, marked "United States Marine Corps," and an olive-drab t-shirt. "Hi. New guy, are you?"

Asteria arrives at the station shortly after Ariadne. She is 5'6, 130lbs with black hair hanging to the top of her thighs, and jade green eyes, she is wearing jeans, combat boots and a baby doll t-shirt that says "Violence may not be the best option, but its still an option." She looks at the new person, and smiles a little. "I'm Asteria, Black Fury, Ahroun, Homid. And you are?"

Danny keeps his mouth shut in the presence of the Alpha, accepting his tasks graciously. He makes no effort to make small talk with her, and leaves quickly when he's released to meet the others.

But his smile returns as two ladies greet him. "Hi. I'm Danny Dent, Silent Strider, Theurge, Homid." He spits that out in a rapid fire way, as if he'd been practicing it in his head for a while. "Yeah, I'm the new guy. One of the warders just introduced me to the Alpha, and she gave me a list of things I could do to help out." Danny is wearing cargo shorts, sandals, and a Six Million Dollar Man t-shirt. He has an olive green satchel slung over his shoulder. "I don't have much in the way of stuff to offer, but I'll help out where you think I'm needed most."
