Ariadne is padding through the campground in her lean, black lupus form. She stops by the fire and lays down, stretching out.

"Greetings sister, I am Ankhotep, a Galliard of the Silent Striders. I've been walking all day and would relish the chance to take off my boots for an hour or two and warm my feet at your fire."

Ariadne rolls so that she's sitting up. Her ears perk up. "Hey. First, it's not my fire, so feel free. And secondly, I'm Ariadne Fletcher, Silent Strider Galliard." Her tail thumps against the ground a few times. "Nice to meet you."

Ankhotep is a small man, only 5'6" tall with scraggly hair and a rough beard. He's dressed for the outdoors with a solid pair of hiking boots and a thick fleece jacket. A red bandana kept the worst of his ginger curly hair from his face and his face looked weathered as if having spent one too many nights lying under the stars.

"So is there someone here I should call on for permission to rest up a few days or can I just make myself comfortanble here?"

He kicks of his boots and wriggles his toes at the fire.

Asteria, in lupus form, trots back into the campsite, coming back from a run. Her large black form slowing as she see's the new comer. As she walks towards the two, she shifts instantly into her homid form. She stops a few feet away, looking over the new comer with a wary eye.

Asteria is 5'7" 125 lbs, long black hair to her hips, she has jade green eyes. She is wearing jeans, a t-shirt and boots. She moves a bit closer, "I am Asteria Hallas, Black Fury, Cliath, Ahroun. And you are?" She does not offer her hand to shake, she simply waits for an answer.

Ankhotep springs quickly to his feet with a smile.

"Ankhotep, Galliard of the Silent Striders, Claith, Short-legged but long travelled and I bring a song or story. Which ever best suits the occasion"

With a flourish more suited to the courts of Loius the 14th he finishes with a bow.

Asteria smirks at his words and bow. "Pleasure. Please have a seat." She moves towards the fire, taking a seat near it, staring into it for a time. "So, have you been cleansed properly? Met our alpha yet?"
