As instructed, Shawn doesn't come to Claudia's cabin until 10 am. He quietly nears her cabin, but does not approach too closely, and patiently waits for her to show signs of being up and receptive to visitors.

Claudia looks out the door and nods approvingly.

"Good. It's lesson time. So tell me what you know about yourself and your current condition. This is going to be a loooong day." She sits down on her porch and offers Shawn the other chair.

Shawn takes the chair that is offered and sits.

"I'm some kind of monster that is supposed to be good, I guess. I'm not allergic to garlic. I can see my reflection. I'm allergic to silver. Um...And some of us change with the moon."

"I think that's pretty much it."

Claudia snorts. "Monster... not a bad term. Not completely correct either. But whatever, I'm just supposed to teach you about the bad things. You can ask Donovan about the good things. So first we'll start with the big bad. The reason we're all here. On the planet that is, not here specifically. The Wyrm. That's capital The capital W-y-r-m. Not w-o-r-m.
